Chapter 40 – I Need You In My Life, Alyssa Shade

"You son of a bitch!"
All I saw was red when I walked into Hunter's room to see him making out with a girl.
"What the f*ck? Do you not know how to f*cking knock?!"
The punch I sent straight to his face made the girl gasp in shock and she hopped off his desk.
"I'll see you some other time, babe."
Her voice was shaky as she stepped out of the room with dishevelled hair and clothes.
"What the hell was that for?!"
Hunter's eyes blazed with anger as he held his jaw, glaring at me.
I ran a hand through my hair, trying to suppress my own anger.
"Alyssa called me, begging to pick her up from some bowling alley in Times Square because Dominic was with her." I said with gritted teeth.
Saying it out loud made me realize how fucked up this situation actually is.
Something flashed in my brother's eyes and he was suddenly swearing under his breath, his breathing becoming uneven.
He ran a hand down his face, trying to comprehend what I had just told him.
"Why the hell did she go out alone?"
His voice sounded accusing and that only made my anger towards him rise.
"Because your stupid ass decided to make her jealous with your childish comments, Hunter. She made you breakfast and you practically blanked her efforts and on top of that you had to mention some random girl's name. She walked out on the verge of tears so do you actually think she would want someone with her when she is heartbroken over the fact that the guy she loves doesn't even acknowledge her existence?!"
Hunter's face was red with regret when I had finished talking. I didn't even want to imagine the shit that was going on inside his mind right now.
"Guys you might want to hurry up. You're going to be late."
I whipped my head around to see Kayla standing at the doorway with her gun in her hand.
"Woah. What the hell happened to your face?"
Hey eyes were fixed on Hunter and I looked back at him to see blood trickling down the corner of his mouth. We shared a look and he shook his head with wide eyes.
Does he actually think I'm going to listen to him?
"Hunter made Alyssa angry and now Dominic has her."
Her mouth dropped open and she came into Hunter's room, closing the door behind her.
"What do you mean he has her?"
"She called me and told me to pick her up from a Bowling Alley she went to because Dominic found her. When I went to pick her up she wasn't there."
Her eyes widened for a split second before I saw her mask the worry, "How do you know you didn't get the wrong bowling alley?"
I heard Hunter's loud growl from behind me, "This isn't Cluedo, Kayla. We don't have to think of alternative scenarios."
"Guys, let's just tell Owen and hope to god that there is a way to track her down."
