The only sound of the room was the sound of a quill on parchment and the occasional dip of that quill in ink. The holder of the quill was none other than Professor Severus Snape.
He was bent over a long roll of parchment, focused only on it. He didn't notice when a young, platinum blond boy pushed the door open, his blue eyes hard. "Sir?" he asked with a frown.
Snape turned and frowned. "Yes, Draco?"
"Sir, it's nearly dawn. Why are you still up?"
Snape ran his hand over his face and asked, "How is Lily?"
"Still asleep sir. What are you writing?"
"My Will Draco, I'm afraid I won't survive this war."
The blond nodded, Lily was Snape's life, he would do anything to keep her safe. And Draco loved Lily and had swore to protect her. He had made the unbreakable vow with Snape to protect the girl.
Snape leaned back in his seat, his face firm. "If I don't live through this Draco, you must do something for me. I want you to take my Will to Kingsley and only him. You understand?"
Snape was afraid Draco wouldn't do it, remembering the night in the Astronomy Tower when he had to kill Dumbledore instead of Draco. It had ate at him for months. The man had once been his professor and his friend.
Draco nodded and said, "I'd better be returning to bed now."
Snape nodded and watched him go.
