Logan Shacklebolt looked at her friends. Tobias Prince sat diagonal from her, her friend Belle Weasley sat next to her, Teddy Lupin across from Belle.
Logan pushed a piece of hair out of her face, looking out the window. Her ear buds twirled from her IPod, a muggle thing her father had given her. The song 'Alphabet boy' by Melanie Martinez played in her ears and she hummed it softly.
Tobias pulled an ear bud from her ear, smirking. "I'll be back. Do you want anything from the trolly?"
She shrugged, pulling out her purse. "Anything you'll be able to get. You know what I like," she said, handing him a handful of money.
He nodded, standing up and opening the door. "I'll be back," he said and quickly stepped out, just to be ran into by a brown haired boy.
The boy looked up, his eyes wide. "S-sorry Mr."
Tobias frowned but Logan smiled. "Its fine, what are you doing out of your compartment?" she asked.
"I'm looking for the trolly."
Tobias frowned at Logan. "I'll take you, but stay close. I don't need to lose you if the train moves suddenly."
The boy nodded, following Tobias when he left, sliding the door shut.
Only seconds later the door was thrown open and Fred Weasley and Lily Snape jumped in, grinning. "Hello sister," Fred said, sitting down.
"What did you do?" Belle asked.
"You'll know in a second but can we hide in here? If teachers ask we've been in here most of the ride?"
They shrugged, settling into their seats. A scream echoed through the train and they stuck their heads out of their compartment, many other students were doing the same thing. In front of the teacher's cart were the new Professors, Dramon and Weasley, their chests heaving. Behind them were Tobias and the other boy, Tobias had pushed the boy behind him, his wand out, his arm holding the boy behind him. It looked so familiar.
"You," Dramon snapped at Prince. "Did you do this."
"Mrs. Dramon, of course he didnt. Mr. Prince isn't like that," Mrs. Weasley said
"He's a boy," Professor Dramon snapped. Did she have something against males?
"Not all males are bad, Mr. Prince, why are you out of your compartment?"
"I was looking for the trolly. I skipped breakfast and the woman barely ever stops by the second years."
"And why are you out here Mr. Dumbledore?"
"I was looking for the trolly as well. I ran into Mr. Prince."
"See, they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time," Professor Weasley said with a smile. "Now, back to your compartments and no coming out of them until we reach Hogwarts."
Tobias nodded, turning and striding back to their compartment, letting Dumbledore by. Tobias frowned. "Did you do this Weasley?" he asked Fred.
"Me? Of course not," Fred said with a grin.
"Well, we'd better be heading back to our compartment."
They stood, quickly leaving. "Well, we'd better change, come on Teddy," Tobias said, grabbing his bag.
Teddy rolled his eyes but followed. "Come on! Cheer up over there Hufflepuff!" Belle said, grabbing her bag.
Belle was a Gryffindor, she was a Hufflepuff, Tobias was a Slytherin and Teddy was a Ravenclaw.
Somehow they all got along together. "So, what do you think about Teddy?"
"Are you still, you know...?" Logan asked.
Belle blushed the color of her hair. "Yes, it's just I can't tell him."
Logan laughed, "You can do it."
"No I can't, I'm not like you."
Logan smiled. "Just because I talked to a Durmstrang boy doesn't mean anything."
"But he was totally flirting with you. How come you get all the guys."
Logan pushed her friend lightly, laughing. "Come on, we're going to be there in a minute. The boys will be back any second."
They finished changing, sitting back down as the door slid open, the boys slipping in. "Professor Evans and Professor Dramon are having a little talk in the hall," Teddy said.
Tobias rolled his eyes, looking out the window. Logan frowned, looking at her friend. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," he muttered. "Just tired."
She nodded, looking out the window as well.
