Lily bit her lip as they exited Gringotts. She didn't expect that much money!

How had her dad had that much in the first place, did he steal it? She felt Scorpius's eyes on her and looked up at him. "What do you want to get first?" he asked with a smirk.

Draco had disappeared when they exited, saying that he had some business to take care of. "Um, my wand would be good first."

He nodded, taking her hand and rushing towards Olivandra's, Olivander's daughter's wand shop.

He pushed the door open, dragging them in. He's quite exited she thought with a smile. A boy stood with Olivandra, his head cocked to the side, long brown hair falling around his head. Olivandra looked up and said, "Don't tell me Draco broke his wand, again?"

"No ma'am, we're here for our wands."

"Thank Merlin, stay here Mr. Potter, I'll be right back with another wand for you."

"Draco breaks his wands?" she whispered to Scorpius.

"Um, ya. Being an Auror is dangerous and some spells that if he tries to deflect breaks his wand."

Lily nodded as the brown haired boy turned. "Hello," he said cheerily, "Are you first years too?"

"Yes, I'm Scorpius and this is Lily," Scorpius said with a smile. "And you are?"

"James, I have a little sister named Lily."

Olivandra came back, tucking a strand of mouse brown hair behind her ear. "Ok, here. Try this one. Hawthorn, phenoix feather, ten inches."

Scorpius reached up, shaking his head. What was wrong with him?

The boy glowed and she smiled, she was ready to get out of here and to see Freddy, a good friend. The boy turned and said, "Bye." He handed Olivandra what he owed and hurried out. Strange.

"Alright, let's see," Olivandra said, dissapearing into the sea of boxes.

Scorpius walked to a globe near a, overcrowded with wands, seat, spinning it around and around. He stopped his finger as the door opened, two red heads walking in, bundled up, a bushy haired woman behind them. "Hello Mrs. Weasley," Olivandra said, coming back with two boxes. "How have you been? How's the wand treating you?"

"Good Olivandra, helps keep these two out of trouble."

The girl, who seemed to have caught Scorpius's eye, pulled at her sweater.

She had long red hair, hazel eyes and pale skin. Lily knew from experience it was hard to catch Scorpius's attention, for the first few weeks of knowing each other he had ignored her, until she got mad and dyed his hair red and gold. It had been specially made so it couldn't be hexed out. It had taken weeks to get it out.

Olivandra handed her a wand, "Birch Wood, Dragon Heartstring, ten inches. Alot of Veela hair today," Olivandra whispered the last part to herself.

Again, Scorpius reached up and touched his hair. She found it quite amusing. "And for you Mr. Malfoy, Elder Tree, Veela hair as well and sixteen inches, the longest I have."

They took their wands, she could hear the faint whisper of voices around them, "Never again... Why...? Alisa...? No...!"

Images swirled around her. A young boy ran through the woods, footsteps crashing around him. "Catch him!"

"Alisa?" he asked, turning.

A woman stood there, she looked like a ghost, she was chained at the feet, shackles on her arms. "Run my little mate."

She gasped, finding herself back where she was. "The wands have chosen, have a nice day," Olivandra said, waving them off.

They turned and quickly headed off, Scorpius brushing against the red haired girl.
