Lily placed her things in the overhead bin, a sigh leaving her lips. She would be heading home for the summer now but she didn't want to go. She heard the door open and looked back to see her group of friends. Scorpius, Amy, Rose, Hugo, Fred, Elara, Wyet and James stood there, their things in their hands. "Hi Lily," Elara said, waving, a flower crown on her head as she entered, putting her beg up in the bin.
Lily smiled, sitting down as they filled in, finding their spots. Rose ended up in Scorpius's lap, looking out the window; Elara was in Fred's lap, reading; Wyet was next to Lily, who was in James's lap; Amy was on the other side of Wyet and hugo was between Scorpius and Fred. Lily didn't mind that it was kind of cramped, she had all her friends.
When the trained reached the station none of them made a move to get off, instead they just sat their, looking at each other. "Um... we should be getting off..." Amy said, biting her lip as she looked at them.
Fred lightly shook Elara, who had fallen asleep curled up against him, her arms wrapped around him. Elara sat up and rubbed her eyes. Lily smiled sadly, getting up and tugging their things down, passing them around. "We-we'll all right each other, right?" Lily asked, her back turned.
"Of course," Fred said, smiling. "Why wouldn't we?"
Lily shrugged, looking back at them. All of her friends, the people that she cared about. She just wished that she had longer with them. She nodded, grabbing her bag and Mutante, who squawked. "Ok, let's go, our parents are waiting for us," she said, smiling.
Lily left the compartment, rushing out to where Draco was, not wanting to see her friends reactions to her sudden leaving.
