Lily looked out of the window, frowning. They would be leaving the train soon but she didn't want to leave. "Lily?" she heard a voice say behind her.

She turned to see Rose, her hands around the handle of her suitcase. "Yes?"

"Where's Scorpius?"

"Probably getting his broom," she answered, standing up.

"Oh," she shifted her weight from foot to foot. "Do you think Scorpius likes me!" the other girl blurted.

She froze. Of course she would ask her that. She was the closest to the blond. "I don't know. Scorpius is... hard to decipher."

"But you're his best friend! How could you not know?"

She shrugged, taking Mutante from the dresser. The bird had finally decided to stay multicolored. The other day he had began to change colors rapidly. It had given her a headache.

Rose fidgeted, looking down. "Ok," she said and went to leave.

Lily grabbed Rose's shoulder, stopping her. "Look, if I knew I'd tell you. But I don't. I'm sorry."

"Its fine," she said, leaving the room.

She sighed, petting Mutante through the cage. "I wish you could talk and tell me what to do, Mutante. This is so hard."

Mutante squaked, cocking his head to the side. "Come on, Draco'll be waiting."

She walked downstairs to where Draco and Hermione waited. Hugo and Scorpius sat at the table, speaking quietly. Grey and Rose sat next to each other, waiting. "Finally ready?" Draco said with a smirk.

She rolled her eyes, slinging her backpack over her shoulder, her suitcase in hand. "Yes sir."

Draco chuckled, standing. "Ready?"

The other children stood, grabbing their things. They nodded and Hermione stood. Hermione took Hugo and Rose's shoulders and Draco took Scorpius, Lily and Grey's shoulders, apparating with a pop.

Lily looked around platform 9 and 3 quarters. Draco had apparated them straight there. Hermione appeared beside them, smiling. "This brings back memories," she said to Draco.

"Yes it does Ms. Granger."

She laughed, looking up at him. "'Mione!" a black haired man yelled, rushing up to her.

"Harry!" she said as the man hugged her. Harry?

"Ron told me about you leaving because he cheated."

"I'm not going back to him Harry."

"I know. He doesn't deserve you," the man turned to Draco. "Hello Malfoy."

"Potter. Here to drop your son off? James, I believe."

"Yes."

Draco and Harry worked together as Aurors and had become good friends over the years.

"So, Scorpius's first year?"

"And Lily's."

Harry looked down at Lily, who stood next to Scorpius. "So, you are. You've gotten big Lily."

"I'm still short," she said, crossing her arms.

Harry chuckled, a familiar face appearing behind Harry. James Potter, the boy from Olivandra's.

"Ah, James. Come meet Mr. Malfoy's children."

"I've already met them," James said, looking straight at Lily.

"Really? When?"

"At Olivandra's," Scorpius said.

"Oh, well. I hope it was a nice meeting."

"It was ok, Scorpius, we should be getting on the train before all the compartments are full."

Scorpius nodded, picking up his things. "Are you coming," he asked Rose and Hugo.

"We'll hang back," Hugo said.

"I'll go," Rose said, quickly grabbing her things.

Hugo snorted, looking down at his feet. Scorpius walked to the train, waiting on the two girls. This was going to be a long train ride.
