I'm leaving

Hermione curled up in a chair, facing the door, her bags at her feet. She was ready to leave, to follow what Draco said with precision. Pack your bags before he gets there, sit at the door and wait for him, don't go to sleep, when he gets there, tell him and leave. Don't give him time to react and hurt you. If you aren't here before two I'll come for you.

The door clicked open and Ron came in. "Hermione?" he asked.

"I'm leaving," she said with no remorse.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"I'm leaving Ronald."

"What? Where are Hugo and Rose?"

"Gone, I decided to tell you we're leaving."

"You're not taking my children," he snapped.

"Well you should've thought about that before you cheated!"

Ron faltered. "What are you talking about? I'd never cheat on you."

"Liar! You cheated with Astoria freaking Malfoy!"

He snarled. "Where will you go? You have nowhere. Everything's in my name."

"Draco's."

"Malfoy? Are you insane?"

"No, I'm not. But he already knows Astoria's cheating on him. He's ready to take us in."

"Why the hell would he do that. He hates you."

"Godric Ronald. How can you be so blind. I dated the man."

Ron was on her in a second, caging her in the chair. "You wanker."

Tears threatened her eyes but she wouldn't cry. "I'm a wanker? You cheated on me!"

Ron's wand was at her throat in a heartbeat. Suddenly the door opened and Draco stood there. "Back off," he snapped at Ron.

"What the hell are you going to do. I'm talking to my wife."

"I said back off Weasley. I told you to not give him time to react Hermione."

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

"Its fine."

Draco held out his hand but Ron snarled, pointing his wand at Draco. "Leave Malfoy."

"No."

Hermione sniffed, reaching down for her wand. Ron was so focused on Draco he didn't see when Hermione pulled out her wnad and hexed him. He fell and Draco rushed to her, picking her and her things up and apparating.
