Draco paced the house, she should've been here already. Had he stopped her?
"Father?" he heard Scorpius say behind him.He turned to look at his son, who he loved to death. "Yes?"
"Who are you waiting for? Where are you going?"
He smirked, of course his own son would see through his fakeness. "A friend. I want you to watch her children while we're gone."
"Are you cheating on mum?" Scorpius blurted out, quickly covering his mouth.
He kneeled down to his son. "Scorpius. You cannot breath a word to your little sister about what I'm going to tell you. Promise me son."
Scorpius nodded. "I'm not cheating on your mother. I believe she's cheating on me. With the woman who's coming's husband. I love your mother but if she is cheating then it's over between us."
"Will we stay with you?"
"Yes, you guys are my life and if I lose you I don't what I'd do with myself."
Scorpius hugged him, no matter how big he got he would always love his son.
There was a knock at the door and he quickly walked to it. Opening, it he saw it was her.
She was fussing at Hugo and Rose, who were arguing. "Enough, both of you," she snapped, looking up. Her brown eyes met his grey ones and he smirked.
"Hermione Weasley," he said.
"Draco Malfoy," she said back.
Scorpius smirked at Rose, walking up the stairs, most likely to go get Lily. Draco held out his hand to Hermione, saying, "Come in, Grey's in the garden and Lily and Scorpius are upstairs."
Hermione nodded, ushering her children inside and out of the slight cold. "Rose, Hugo, go play. Mr. Malfoy and I have something we must do."
Hugo huffed but made his way upstairs, Rose behind him. "Do you have the tracker?" Hermione asked, placing a hand on the table, most likely to steady herself.
This investigation had been going on for months, they had to be sure. He nodded. "What if we're right, he'll take Hugo and Rose from me, kick me out. I'll be homeless and my kids will be motherless-" she rambled until Draco placed a hand over her mouth.
"You'll be fine, I promise. He cheated on you. The ungrateful pig."
Hermione giggled, looking up at him. "But what will I tell Rose and Hugo?"
"The truth, I told Scorpius that I think Astoria is cheating."
"I don't know if they could handle it-"
He lifted her chin. "You're the girl who punched me in our third year, faced Voldemort, faced heartbreak with the ungrateful pig with Brown, faced Bellatrix when she carved that word in your arm, rode a dragon, and still aced her grades. You've got this. I know it. It you can do that, imagine what your children can do and face."
Hermione hugged him, pressing her face into his chest. He hugged her back, resting his head on hers.
He heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs and let her go. "Dad, can we go outside and play Quidditch?"
"Sure, but no playing with the bludger," he said with a smirk.
They quickly ran outside and Hermione looked up at him. "They seem quite happy."
"Mmm... they got that from their mother."
Hermione laughed, smiling. "I've seen when you're happy, you made me happy as well."
"Draco, we need to go," she whispered.
He nodded, quickly grabbing his coat. "Scorpius knows we're leaving, he'll be watching your children, Grey and Lily."
"Why didn't you leave Lily in charge?"
He frowned. "Because Scorpius came to me first."
"I know that's a lie," Hermione said, crossing her arms.
"We're not discussing this now."
She sighed in defeat. They walked to the door, heading to the gate. This was going to be fun.
