Lily smiled as they entered Gringotts, goblins running around.

She almost laughed as one tripped, only to hurry away. Scorpius smirked, leaning over to her ear, "Have you ever been to your vault?"

She shook her head, looking up at him. "Don't be afraid, Lily, you'll be fine. You might get a bit sick after the ride though."

She smiled as they walked up to a goblin up front. "I need into the Snape and Malfoy vaults," Draco said smoothly, his eyes and voice void of emotion. His 'business look' as he called it.

"Key?"

Draco pulled out two keys, one ornamented with a snake on the end, the other had a small potion on the end. She could barely keep in her laughter. The goblin raised an bushy eyebrow but took the keys, waddling to a door.

Scorpius frowned as he and Lily followed the goblin deep into the earth, his father in front of them. A sly smile crossed his lips as he tugged on Lily's black locks. She turned quickly, her eyes wide. Her lips parted to say something but the cart suddenly lurched and she turned back, covering her mouth. He chuckled softly, leaning back. This didn't bother him, Draco took him down here frequently for money.

The goblin came to a halt at their vault, 712. "Key," the goblin insisted rudely but father didn't notice, handing him the key.

The goblin placed the key in, turning it, the series of clicks and ticks followed.

The vault swung open, the piles upon piles of Galleons, Sickles and Nuts glittering in the light.

Lily's eyes widened, he heard her whisper to herself, "I'll never have this much."

Anger bubbled in him and he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, if you ever need money I'll give it to you."

She blushed, "I won't accept it."

He chuckled, taking two bags from his pockets and scooping handfuls in. He went to hand her one but she shook her head, pulling a small bag from her pocket, twisting her necklace in her fingers.

He smirked at her nervous habit, liking the fact he had gave her the necklace.

He didn't like boys around her nor Grey, they were the closet people to him and he wasn't a sharer. He nearly laughed at the insanity of it. Lily was like a sister to him, it was normal for him to not like boys around her, right? Like the overprotective big brother, even though he was younger than her.

His father began to the door and he hurried after him, grabbing Lily by her hoodie and dragging her along. Instead of her getting in a different seat, she sat with him, holding onto him. He quickly realized she didn't like it down here.

He pulled her against him, murmuring in her ear, "Its ok, we'll be out soon and we can go get our school supplies. How about we stop for a pet? An owl maybe? Or even a Phoenix if you like. Anything you want."

She had her face buried in his shirt, the cart bumping and twisting deeper and deeper into the earth. How far down was her vault?

"Is she ok?" father asked, turning.

"She doesn't like it down here," he said, rubbing her back.

Father nodded, turning back. They came to a sudden halt, he could barely keep himself and Lily from falling over the side, into the dark abyss below. "Mr. Snape was very secure with his vault, we'll need a key and a drop of her blood," the goblin said, making Scorpius's eyes widen.

"Why her blood?" Draco hissed, his calm businesslike attitude gone.

"We need to know if she's a Snape. All she'll need to do it slit her finger and place it on the door."

Lily looked up. "Its fine," she said shakily.

She stood up giving the goblin her finger, letting him cut it with his sharp teeth.

The cart lurched forward again and Lily almost fell, but father caught her. Pulling her back against him, he inspected her finger. "Are you ok?"

She nodded, smiling. He smiled as they pulled up to a vault door, the grey metal blending in with the grey surrounding. The goblin placed the key in, grabbing Lily's wrist and pressing her finger against the door. She fell back and Scorpius quickly caught her. The door opened with a loud 'click.'

The vault door swung open and Lily looked like her eyes were going to pop out of her head. Even more piles than were in the Malfoy Vault was in the vault, all slightly glittering.

Scorpius smirked, helping her to her feet. "Go on," he said, handing her an extra bag.

She blushed, quickly filling the bags and walking back to him. He chuckled, helping her into the cart. Today was going to be fun.
