Ladybug and Author (mixed) POV

"Hey M'ladybug" Ladybug rolls her eyes as Chat sits down next to her on top of one of a building.

"What do you want Chat?" He smirks. "Well bugaboo if you want to know so badly then I'll tell you."

"Go on kitty, tell me, I'm not getting any younger." Ladybug finally turns to look at him because she was looking at the ground for trouble.

Chat looks nervous for once. Not the sly, flirty cat that I know. What is so important and wrong with him? Not that it isn't cute but- WAIT ,CHAT CUTE?! When did that happen?

"Well, I want to know if you would go out with me on a date?" Ladybug's eyes widen.  Ohhhhhh. So that's what this is about.

"Chat, I don't know. How would that work? Would we wear disguises since we can't know each other's identities? Where would we go? How would we know that it's each other? If the date ended badly, then it would be awkward snice we work together. So I'm sorry Chat, but it's a bad idea."

As Ladybug rambled on about why they shouldn't date; it went in through one ear and out the other with Chat. He got the gist of it though.

After a long period of silence, Chat finally thought about a loophole and he it smiled. "Do you know m'lady why I continue to flirt with you?"

Ladybug sighed. "No Chat, why do you continue to flirt with me? Don't you just flirt with everyone?"

His smile faltered. That's not the reason.? Huh. I guess he only flirts with me. "No m'lady. Only you." Ladybug smiled at that.

"The real reason I always flirt with you is because even though you always give me reasons on why we can't be together or why I annoy you or whatever the reason is; you never say no."

"What?! I say no!" Ladybug looks shocked at what Chat says. He chuckles. "No you don't m'lady. You say that my jokes are annoying, that it wouldn't work out if we went out, that we shouldn't know each others identities, but you never say no. So here is me, asking you, do you want to go out with me?"

"Um.......well................maybe?" Ladybug stumbles on her words for the first time. Chat thinks it's adorable, but he is not gonna tell her that.

"Well you didn't say no, so that's a yes!" Chat is beaming right now. "I'll pick you up 7 p.m on Saturday. Bye." Chat goes away for once leaving Ladybug breathless.

Stupid kitty. Ladybug shakes her head to clear it. I don't say no? Well then I'm glad that I don't say no. His sentence plays in her head.
