The dollhouse part 2

~John's pov~

(Y/n) and I walked back in the room where the base was set up and everyone was looking at the computer screens like they were in a trance. "is everything okay?" I asked them.
"We have noticed that Ayumi doesn't seem to want to let go of that doll she is holding." Mai replied.
"Maybe it is something that she doesn't want to lose." Said (y/n) in a rather quite voice. "Besides she is only young. Children at that age always have something they feel attached to." (Y/n) continued.
"You have a point." Mai replied.
"I'll talk to her if you want?" Replied (y/n).
"Yes that would be a good idea. Maybe have two of you go. John and (y/n) you two go." Said Kazuya.

'What? Why send me and (y/n)? Could that mean they know about how I feel towards (y/n).' I thought. "Okay." I said.

I looked over at (y/n) and noticed that she was by the door looking at me a bit confused. "Sorry. I'm coming." I said turning and walking towards (y/n).
"Don't worry about it. I have spaced out on you plenty of times. I here by give you permission to space out on me." (Y/n) replied with a little bit of a giggle.

I smile at her and laugh a little. "Thank you for the permission. I'll keep that in mind for the future." I said looking at her.
"Glad I could be of some help." (Y/n) replied with a bit of a giggle.

We both got to the lounge door and we opened it and walked in to find Ayumi talking to her doll. "Hello Ayumi. Sorry to interrupt your talk, but you see me and John were just wondering if we could ask your friend what her name is." Said (y/n).
"She wants to know why." Said Ayumi. "It's just that we want to be kind to her. We don't want to call her 'the doll'. Me and (y/n) thought it would be better to know her name." I said. Smiling over to (y/n).
"She said it is fine for you to know her name, but she doesn't want to talk to you about anything." Ayumi replied. .

Me and (y/n) both smiled over at Ayumi and her doll. "Her name is Minnie." Said Ayumi.
"Well hello Minnie. My name is (f/n) (L/n) and this is John Brown." Said (y/n) in a sweet voice.
"Minnie said that I shouldn't be talking to any of you." Said Ayumi. "Why is that Ayumi?" Asked (y/n). "Because Minnie said that you are going to do horrible things to us." Replied Ayumi.
"What horrible things are we going to do to you?" Asked (y/n).
"Minnie said that you are going to take her away from me." Ayumi replied.
"Why do you think we are going to take her away from you?" Asked (y/n). "Because your horrible people!" Shouted Ayumi.
"Ayumi calm down. Me and John are going to leave you alone know okay." (Y/n) said standing up slowly and walking backwards so she is next to me.
"John we better go." (Y/n) said.
"Okay." I replied.

Me and (y/n) walked out of the lounge and closed the door behind us. "There is definitely something wrong with the way she treats that doll. It is like she thinks it is a real person." (Y/n) said.
"You said yourself that children her age have a personal attachment to something." I said.
"I know I said that, but there is a point where it goes to far. She thinks that her doll is real." (Y/n) said.
"I see your point, but you probably spoke to your toys when you were younger." I said.
"Yes I did, but I know that it wasn't real. I have a feeling that there is something controlling that doll." (Y/n) said.
"You mean like possessing the doll?" I asked.
"Yes." (Y/n) replied

~Ayumi's pov~

I was still sat in the lounge talking to Minnie when we both over heard the chat between Mr Brown and Miss (L/n). "They shouldn't be trusted." Said Minnie.
"But they seem like nice people." I replied.
"All the more reason not to trust them. They are only going to take me away from you. Do you want that?" Said Minnie.
"No I don't want that." I replied with tears in me eyes.
"If you talk to them. You know what will happen." Said Minnie.
"I promise I won't talk to them." I replied.
"Good." Said Minnie.

~(y/n)'s pov~

Me and John were walking down the hall when I stopped because I thought I heard something. "Is everything okay?" John asked.
"Ye everything is fine. I thought I heard something." I replied and continued walking down the hall.

We both walked into the room where base was set up. "Well. It looks like the both finally decided to come back." Said Ayako.
"I think it is the doll." I said.
"The doll?" Asked monk.
"Yes. If you didn't hear the conversation between me and Ayumi she always refers to the doll as a living thing. She always said Minnie doesn't want to talk to you, or Minnie told me not to talk to you. Don't you see. There is two possible reasons. First reason, the doll is possessed by something or someone. The second reason, Ayumi is possessed, or it could be that Ayumi doesn't feel comfortable talking to other living people. But that doesn't explain the furniture moving. So either it could be a poltergeist or it could be a ghost." I said.

Once I said this everyone, apart from Naru, looked shocked at this information that they have just been told.
"You never cease to surprise me." John said putting an arm over my shoulders.
"Stop flirting you two." Said Monk, which caused John and me to blush a little and John to cross his arms over his chest.

I looked over to Naru and he knew what I was waiting for. "(Y/n) is right about a few things. We should take Minnie away from Ayumi when she is asleep and see what you said is right." Naru said.
"But that would just upset Ayumi which would upset Minnie and if... and I mean if I am right then that would mean that people could get hurt and badly. We will have to do this carefully." I replied. "But I still think it is a bad idea. You don't know what will happen when they are separated." I continued.
"Are you scared (y/n)?" Asked Naru jokingly.
"So what if I am. What does it have to do with you." I replied rather meanly.

~time skip to when we plan to take the doll (Minnie)~

"It won't work." I said rather annoyed. "And how would you know that." Naru asked.
"Look all I'm saying is that we can't just go up talk to her and try to distract her from whatever it is she will be doing then take the doll. She will notice and she will be really angry and who knows what she will do or even that doll of hers." I said showing that I was annoyed.

'Why do they think walking up to Ayumi and taking her doll would work.' I thought trying to keep my anger contained. "Kazuya (y/n) has a point. Ayumi wouldn't let go of her doll even when (y/n) and I were there talking to her. I think if we were going to take her doll we should probably take it when she doesn't know." John said.
"Like when she goes to the restroom (bathroom or toilet)?" Mai asked.
"No. Something like when she is asleep." I said.
"That may work. Take the doll when she is asleep. She wouldn't notice. But when she gets up she will know that Minnie has gone missing." John said. "We would just have to return her before she wakes up." I said.
"It's going to take a while to see if it is the doll." Said Lin.
"Yes, but have you thought of seeing if it was a poltergeist?" I asked.
"Are you changing your mind about it being the doll?" Lin asked.
"No I'm just keeping all possibilities open at this moment." I replied.
"We can see if it is a poltergeist if it isn't the doll." Naru replied.
"Fine, but still I would be careful about how you take that doll." I said. "Why are you so concerned anyway." Asked monk.
"Can't I be concerned about my friends or work colleagues." I asked. "Or is it because you are more concerned about a certain someone not everyone?" Said Ayako.
"I said I am worried about everyone not just the person that you think I like." I said.
"Who is it we think you like then?" Asked Mai.
"You already know who it is." I said.
"I think I forgot." Said monk.
"Same here." Said Ayako.
"Could you tell us. Please." Said Mai. "No." I said bluntly.
"What are they talking about?" Asked John.
"You don't want to know." I replied looking at him.
"Wait I think I remember who it is." Shouted Mai.
"Who what is?" Asked John.
"It is John we all think (y/n) has a crush on." Mai said causing me to mentally face palm. 'This is going to be a long night.' I thought.
