~(Y/n)'s pov~
Once the dog lunged I felt myself being violently pushed out of the way. I fell and hit the ground with a loud 'thud'.

The dog instantly turned and started heading for Ayako at full speed. Being the furthest away from her there was nothing that I could do, that was until I realised that we were in a classroom.

Yes I know throwing things in classrooms isn't allowed, but surely when it is a life and death situation it is allowed.

I grabbed ahold of one of the chairs and I threw it at Ayako. She moved backwards and fell over the chair causing the dog to miss her.

I let the breath that I didn't realize that I was holding out, but it wasn't over. Oh no it has just started for this ghost of an animal.

The dog turned to John and seemed to just stand there staring at him. I started to slowly stand up so that I don't draw it's attention unless I had to, but all it seemed to do was stand there starting like it was frozen by his presence.

I took a step forward, but still the dog didn't move. I took two more steps forward, but this time instead of it staying where it was it lunged at John. I also lunged at John and pushed him to the ground.

By the time the dog realized that it completely missed John we took this opportunity to run out of the classroom and down the hall away from the base.

Truthfully I hoped that it didn't follow us, but by the sound of animalistic breathing coming from behind us I knew we weren't so lucky.

When we all ran into to the classroom we slammed the door shut waiting for the dog to come through, but after ten minutes nothing happened.

I moved towards the door and slid it open to see that the hall was empty. I also walks out of the classroom and further down the hall ignoring the frantic whispers of the others.

When I knew that the dog was gone I went back to the others and told them that it was safe for us to go back to base.

When we got back to base everyone was looking at us then back at each other. "How long does going to.check things out take and what was all that noise?" Questioned Mai.
"Mai we were attacked by a ghost dog or whatever you want to call it." I replied a little frustrated.
"Are you alright?it didn't hurt any of you did it?" Mai questioned.
"We are fine. No it didn't hurt any of us, but Ayako will probably have a bruise to where I through the chair at her to save her from the dog.* I replied.
"That was you who tripped me up just in time when that dog lunged?" Ayako asked.
"Yeah that was me. I hope you are alright?" I replied and questioned.
"I'm alright." Answers Ayako.

~Naru's pov~
When (y/n), Ayako and John came back and told us about the dog I couldn't help, but feel worried for (y/n)'s safety when she is on these jobs. I looked towards her and looked her up and down trying to see if there was any sign of blood. There wasn't. I then looked at John and looked for blood. There wasn't any. Then I looked at Ayako and looked for blood. None. "At least you weren't harmed. I want you three to stay here and look after the base while me, Mai, Monk, Lin and Masaka check out the place to see if there is anything else around here." I commented in my normal bored tone.

After they agreed me and the other left the base. "We will split up into twos and take a floor each. Monk and Mai. Lin and Masaka and I will go alone. Monk you take the third floor. Lin take this floor and I will take the ground. Let's go." I said. They all nodded in a agreement and we all split up to our designated floors.
