Cleansing the house

~monk's pov~

I walked into the base early this morning and I noticed that the others were there as well, but that wasn't the only thing I noticed. I also noticed that (y/n) was sitting as far away as she could be from John. From what I could see John was pretty upset about this.

I walked over to (y/n) and tapped her on the shoulder. "Would it be possible if we could talk outside?" I asked her. "Sure I have nothing better to do." She replied and we walked out of the base and down the hall.
"What's going on between you and John." I asked.
"Nothing." She replied.
"I can see that. I mean, you are sitting across the room from each other and you don't look at him. This has been going green on since yesterday. What's happening?" I asked again and this time (y/n) looked like she was about to cry.
"There is something going on between Mai and John. They were hugging each other really close yesterday and they keep on being really close to each other so I think there is something going on." She replied.

I looked at her then down the hall and back to her. "Oh I see." I said not knowing what else to say. I don't really want to say 'that's not true' then it turns out to be true, or 'how could he do that' then it turns out not to be true. Either way I would end up making a fool out of myself.
"We should go back to the base and find a way to get rid of this ghost." She replied.
"Ye good idea." I said walking behind her back to the base.

~1 hour time skip~

"I'm going to check out the lounge again see if everything is going okay. See if the chars have done what the have to do." (Y/n ) said.
"I'll come with you." John said standing up and walking over to her. "Fine if that is what you want I have no complaints." (Y/n) replied walking out of the room. That's when I noticed that she didn't make eye contact with John the whole time.

~John's pov~

I realised when (y/n) was talking to me she didn't look me in the eyes once.

I walked down the hall with (y/n) and went to the lounge. The second we walked in she instantly got pushed to the ground and dragged. That's when I remembered the ghost and I grabbed hold of (y/n)'s hands and pulled her away from the ghost.

It took quite a lot of time and effort to pull her away from the ghost and when I did I was so happy to know that she was okay that I felt like hugging her, but (y/n) got up and walked around the room again avoiding me as much as she possible can. That's when I decided to ask her what was wrong. "What's wrong (y/n). You have been avoiding me for ages now?" I asked and she looked over at me and asked.
"Is there something going on between you and Mai." She asked.
"No there isn't. Why would you think there would be." I asked shocked.
"It's nothing don't worry." She replied.

Just after she said that she was pulled to the ground again and was being pulled towards the well. Kaziya came running throw up a hitogada.

There was suddenly a really bright light, then there was a little girl reaching out to someone. It was the female ghost because she then took the childs hand and let go of (y/n). The other children then started to vanish and the women started to vanish as well.

Suddenly, the bright light went and I walked over to (y/n) and helped her up. "What happened?" Asked (y/n). "That women was looking for her child and she thought that you were that child. Well it won't happen anymore because the house is cleansed and there shouldn't be any other strange things going on." Said Kaziya before he walked out with Lin behind him.
