~(y/n)'s pov~
I was sat in the office space that we use at Shibuya Psychic Research minding my own business when Mai walks in and asks everyone if we wanted any drinks. Naru being Naru said with no hint of being thankful that he wanted coffee. 'Jeez that guy really does get on my nerves.' I thought looking over to Mai. "I would like (f/d). Also could you get me some (f/f) thank you." I said smiling at Mai before she walked into the kitchen. "Hey (y/n) can I ask you something." I heard Mai shout from the kitchen. "Sure." I said walking to the kitchen. "What is it?" I asked. Mai turned to me and handed me the coffee pot with the lid still on it. "Can you get the lip off for me please." She asked looking a little hopeful that I will be able to get the lid off. "I'll try." I said pulling at the lid trying to get it off, but it wouldn't move. "Who decided to glue the lid onto this." I asked still trying to get it off.

That was until I heard someone taking, and Mai being the noise one she is decided to drag me over to the door and see what was happening. "I am the student president at Ryokuryou High School. There has been some abnormal things going on in the school lately." Said some random student. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I didn't catch your name." I said leaning against the door frame still trying to get the lid off of the coffee pot. "I'm sorry. My name is Osamu Yasuhara. And I am here because of these strange happenings." Osamu Yasuhara said looking at me to Mai. "What strange happenings?" Asked Mai. "Well there are students that have calmed the they have seen a dog. At first I didn't believe them. Until a student came to me with a dog bite on their legs." Said Osamu Yasuhara.

This caused me to look up in shock pulling the coffee pot lid off at the same time causing most of the coffee to go everywhere. "How long has this been happening?" I asked still a little shocked. "For around 2 months now." Osamu Yasuhara said. "This job sounds interesting. What do you think Naru." Asked Mai. "Yes the job does sound interesting. We will see what we can do." Naru said in his monotone voice.

~John's pov~
"Yes the job does sound interesting. We will see what we can do." Kazuya said in monotone. I looked over to Mai and (y/n) and Mai looked very happy about the job.

(Y/n) on the other hand looked like she was still thinking about the dog bites that some of the students have had inflicted on them. 'It's odd that they got dog bites. This is something we need to find out.' I thought. "When will you start?" Asked Osamu Yasuhara. "Tomorrow." Kazuya said. "Okay well I'll meet you by the school gates tomorrow morning." Said Osamu Yasuhara. "Very well." Replied Kazuya.

~time skip to tomorrow at 4am~

I was sat in the office with (y/n) and Mai waiting for the others to turn up. "Why did we come so early?" Asked Mai.
"It's better than being late." Said (y/n).
"That's true." Said Mai.
"Can I ask you guys something?" Mai asked
"Sure" me and (y/n) said at the same time.
"Okay. Well here goes nothing. Areyoutwodatingyet?" Asked Mai really quickly.
"What?" I asked confused.
"I said. Are you two dating yet?" Asked Mai but more clearly this time.
"Um where did you get that idea from?" I asked.
"It's just that you have kissed each other twice." Mai said.
"I see your point." Said (y/n).

I looked around hoping that there will be something that I can change the subject to. "When do you think the others will get here?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. Let me check the time." (Y/n) said looking at her phone. "It is nearly 5am." Continued (y/n). "That's early. I'm going to make some drinks." Mai said walking to the kitchen.

"I'm actually quite tired." (Y/n) said. I looked at her.
"You can go to sleep for a couple of hours because I don't think they will be here until 8 or something like that." I said.
"Okay. Thanks John." (Y/n) yawned and leant back in her chair. 'That chair looks uncomfortable, maybe she will feel more comfortable in this chair.' I thought. She then woke up and looked at me. "This chair is probably one of the most uncomfortable chairs ever." She said a little upset.
"You can take this chair if you want." I asked starting to get up.

(Y/n) got up and walked to my chair and sat down pulling me down as well. She then rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep. I very carefully snacked my arm around her waist to make her more comfortable, but also to pull her closer.

~Mai's pov~
I finished making the drinks and I walked out of the kitchen to find (y/n) sat next to John asleep on his shoulder.

I couldn't help but feel a little jealous of what was going on between them. To be honest I want Naru to treat me the same way as John treats (y/n). But you know what they all say. I want doesn't get. So I'm not surprised Naru doesn't like me in the same way as I like him.

I looked down and continued walking to the coffee table in the middle of all the chairs. "Hey John is (y/n) okay?" I asked.
"Ye she is fine just a little tired." He whispered back to me.

Suddenly you could hear monk and Ayako laughing and joking around. I looked at John and I noticed that he was looking at (y/n). "I wonder who is in here. It's pretty early for anyone being in here." I heard Ayako say.

I walked out of the office closing the door quietly so that I don't wake up (y/n). "Oh hello Mai. Are you the only one here?" Asked monk.
"Shush. No I'm not the only one here. (Y/n) and John are here, but (y/n) is asleep so be quiet." I whisper yelled at them.
"Oh right." Monk said walking into the office. I turned and noticed that monk was looking at (y/n) and John.

~Naru's pov~
I walked into the office and noticed that (y/n) was asleep on John. I looked at John and felt jealous. "How long has she been asleep for?" I asked trying not to show that I was jealous of John. "She has been asleep for 1 hour I think." John said looking at (y/n). 'Why does he have to look at her like that? Why did he have to kiss her twice?' I looked around the room and noticed that Mai was looking at me strange.

'I hope she doesn't know that I like (y/n).' I thought. "Could you wake her up. We need to get the equipment ready to go to Ryokuryou High School." I said walking over to the shelves and putting them in to a neat pile ready to take out to the van.

~John's pov~
I shook (y/n) to get her up. When she woke up she didn't look very happy to be woken up. "Hey I'm sorry but we need to get the equipment into the van and Naru wants our help with it." I said looking at her.
"Okay not a problem." Said (y/n). She got up from being partly on my lap and partly off and walked over to where Naru was.

A few minutes later she came over. "Can you help me take the shelves out to the van please?" She asked.
"Ye sure that wouldn't be a problem." I said getting up and taking half of the shelves while she took the others.

We walked out to the van and put the shelves into the van, but (y/n) cut her finger on a screw in the shelves. I walked over to her to have a look and I remembered there being some bandages in the glove pocket in the van so I get them and put one on her finger.
"Thanks John. They must have forgotten to take that last screw out." Said (y/n).
"Yes they probably did. You are okay though?" I asked a little worried.
"Yes I'm okay. You don't need to worry so much. It's not like your going to lose me or anything." Said (y/n).

She then suddenly blushed a faint pink and looked away. 'She looks cute when she blushes.' I thought. 'What why am I thinking this? Stop it John. You don't like her do you? The kiss was just an accident. I didn't mean for it to happen. What am I kidding of course I did, but she doesn't need to know about that. What if she has a boyfriend that I don't know about? I'll be in so much trouble if she did.' I thought.

While I was having this mental argument with myself I didn't notice that (y/n) was looking at me. That's when it finally came to me when I snapped out of my thoughts and looked into those beautiful (e/c) eyes of hers. That's when I got the thought to ask her something that I was afraid to ask her.

~hey guys. Sorry for the long wait I didn't mean for it to take this long. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I know that it is going to get really difficult for the reader, but we probably now the outcome of this. Anyway just a heads up for the end of the whole story I'm going to do two ending.
