Hello everyone, I would like to say a few things before i start the chapter. First, i would like to say. Thank you to all the people who have read my story. It means so much to me. Thank you so much. Second, i would like to apologize on how long it has taken me to do an update. I have had a lot of rehearsals going on restricting me from updating. Anyway let's get into the chapter. Finally, I want you to know that this chapter isn't going to be set at the same time as the anime because this job is supposed be set at Christmas, but as i have done a Christmas special i will make this into an early Easter special. I hope you enjoy. Also a word of warning this contains a ghost that is a little boy. If you think you won't be able to handle it please don't read past this point. Thank you

~(Y/n)'s pov~
It was the day before Easter and i just woke up from a really good sleep. I walked over to my bathroom and started to have a shower. When I finished in the shower i walked into my room and got changed into my (f/c) top and (s/f/c) jeans. Just before i left my room my phone rang. I picked up my phone and looked at the ID of who was calling me it turned out to be Mai.
"Hello Mai what's wrong?" I asked.
"Hey (y/n), John is here and he said that he has a job for us." She replied.
"Oh okay. Give me 5 minutes and i will be there." I said confused to why John would have a job for us.
"Okay see you later." Mai said before hanging up.

I sighed and walked over to my draws and took out my hair strainers and hair brush (if you have short hair then just take a hair brush). I put the things into a backpack and i put my shoes on and picked up my keys and left the house locking it behind me.

~time skip to the SPR building~

I walked into the SPR building and saw John and the others sat down talking about something. "Hey guys what's up. John Mai said that you have a job for us?" I questioned.
"Yeah i have a job. It's about a boy that goes to the local church that has gone missing." John replied. While he was saying this i had my hair straighteners plugged in warming up.
"When did you find out about this boy was missing?" I asked.
"I found out a couple of days after I arrived at the church." John replied.
"Right, and what is this boy's name?" I asked. Mai looked at me with a confused look on her face. She then looked at monk.
"The boy's name is Kenji." John replied.
"Okay. Well that's all the questions that I have." I replied.

A few minutes later I finished straightening my hair and i unplugged my hair straighteners and left them on the side to cool down.
"We should probably start getting the equipment packed up and ready for the investigation." Mai said. I looked at her and nodded.

Before i could do anything to help, Mai and monk both pulled me away from the others and around to the kitchen. "what's going on?" Mai asked.
"What?" I asked really confused.
"All those questions that you asked John. There is something wrong." Mai said.
"There isn't anything wrong. I was asking the questions because we needed more information about the investigation." I replied now getting really confused.
"I see her point. If she wasn't going to ask the questions then who would have'" Monk commented. "But that still doesn't explain why you were saying them so bluntly like you couldn't feel anything." Monk continued.
"Look i asked him questions, i got the answers to those questions. What else should i have done? Were you expecting me to walk over to him and sit on his lap?" I replied without realising what i have just said, but the looks of amusing.ent that were evident on both Mai's and Monk's faces explained that i had just answered a question they have been asking for a long time.
