The accident with the well

~(y/n)'s pov ~

I walk back into the base with Mai walking behind me. "Hey guys is everything okay?" I asked wanting to know if anything happened while I was with Mai.
"Everything is good. Is everything okay with you and Mai? Also monk is about to do an exorcism on the house just in case." Ayako replied.
"I'm okay. Mai is a bit shaken up. Apparently she saw me falling down a well. I don't think there are any wells here and if there is a well I haven't seen it. When is monk going to do this exorcism?" I replied looking from Ayako to Monk then to Mai to see if she was okay.
"I'm going to go and start now. See you all later." Monk said walking off. "Well I'll just sit here and watch to see if anything happens from here." I said sitting down in front of the computer screens.

~time skip 10 minutes later~

"This is really boring isn't there anything else for me to do." I complained swinging back and forth on the chair.

I suddenly stopped when I noticed loads of ghosts circling Monk. "What is going on?" Mai asked. I got up and ran out of the room not knowing while I was running down the hall that the floor boards had broken away and fallen down a well. The exact same well Mai saw me falling down.

I got to monk and slammed open the door. "Monk... look around you." I said panicked.
"(Y/n)! Get out of here it isn't safe." Monk shouted.
"Okay. Be careful​." I said turning to leave.

I was about to walk out of the door when I felt something grab hold of my ankle and start pulling. I fell hitting the ground with a loud 'bang' alerting monk that something was happening. Monk turned, but he was too late. I was already being dragged towards the well. "(Y/n)!" Monk shouted and started chanting.

I felt the pressure that was around my ankle suddenly leave. I stood up and was about to walk over to monk to thank him when I felt something pull on the back of my hood causing me to fall backwards into the wall. 'Is this what Mai saw. Is this how it all ends for me.' I thought.

~monk's pov~

I just got the hand around (y/n)'s leg off when all of a sudden she fell down the well.

I ran over to the well and looked down it to see if (y/n) was okay. "(Y/n) are you okay! Please talk to me!" I yelled.
"I'm okay my back hurts but I'm okay!" She replied.

Relief swept across my body when I heard her reply with those words. "I'm glad that you are okay." I said. After saying that I heard what sounded like two sets of shoes hitting the floor boards running towards the lounge where me and (y/n) and the well was. "(Y/n) please be okay." I heard John say.
"I knew I shouldn't have let her run out of the room like that." Said Mai. "Why didn't you stop her then?" Said Ayako.
"Because I was hoping that this wouldn't happen." Replied Mai.

They all came running into the room and over to the well. "Is she okay?" Asked John once he got over to me. "She is fine." I said.
"I'm glad to hear that. (Y/n) we are going to get you out of there!" John shouted down to her.
"How are we going to do that?" I asked.
"We found a rope." Mai replied holding out the rope and throwing one end of it down to (y/n).
"Okay!" Shouted (y/n).
"On the count of three we pull her up... One... Two... three.." Mai said and we all started pulling.

~John's pov~

We started pulling (y/n) out of the well she fell down.

After 5 minutes of pulling he finally got her out. I calmly walked over to her and pulled her away from the edge of the well. "Thank you. All of you for helping me out of the well." (Y/n) said looking around to all of us. "Maybe we should all get some rest and continue this in the morning." Ayako suggested.
"Ye that sounds like a good idea." Mai replied. Monk just nodded his head.

They all walked away from the me and (y/n) and out into the hall. "I'm glad that you are okay. I was really worried that something bad happened to you." I said.
"Something bad did happen to me. I fell down a well." (Y/n) replied.
"I know I mean like you could have really badly hurt yourself or worse." I replied.
"John I'm okay. No broken bones. No bleeding. Nothing. So stop worrying and go to your room and I'll see you in the morning." (Y/n) replied about to walk off, but I grabbed hold of her hand gently.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I really am glad that you are okay." I said leaning over to her.

~(y/n)'s pov~

John just grabbed hold of my wrist and I turned and asked him if everything was okay. "I really am glad that you are okay." He replied leaning over to me. I moved away a little and smiled at him. "I already said everything is fine." I said.
"I know." John replied leaning in again.

Suddenly I felt a pair of soft, warm lips against mine. 'Oh my god is he kissing me.' I thought.

I stood there for a couple of seconds in shock not knowing what to do. John then pulled away. "I'm sorry." He said looking down. I smiled and walked over to him closing the gap between us and I kissed him. He kissed back straight away. I put my arms around his neck and he put his arms around my waist pulling me closer. If that was possible.

We had to break the kiss so that we could get air. "I just hope none of this was seem by the others." John said through breaths.
"Well we will just have to wait and see won't we." I said with a slight laugh at the end.
"Yes we will. We should get some rest." John replied.
"Yes we should." I replied.

We walked down the hall while holding hands. We got to the room I shear with Ayako and Mai. "Night (y/n)." John said kissing me on the forehead.
"Night John." I said walking into my room and walking over to the bed and getting under the covers. 'I may have been upset about taking Minnie away from Ayumi. I also may have been told that I will fall down a well. I did fall down a well today. But on the bright side. At least I know John has the same feeling for me that I do for him.' I thought closing my eyes and falling into a peaceful sleep of fairy dust and unicorns. No not really. Just dreaming about a certain someone.

Unknown to you or John. Someone did see and that someone turned out to be none other than Mai and Naru. Well let's say. You and John have a lot of explaining to do.
