"I Was Made To Destroy"

Carmilla's POV
A few moments before:
I look around and find nothing but darkness before me. Is this limbo? Am I gone forever.. Is this what it's like to disappear.. is there no better place for me. Just darkness.

I suddenly hear Laura's voice yelling at me.

"This isn't you Carmilla, please!"

I find myself running towards the sound of her voice.
LAURA! She's Alive!

The voice vanishes.

I've gotta get back to her. I have to!

I place my hands over my head and feel my hands starting to fall through my head as if I was A ghost. I was beginning to disappear.. I couldn't see myself but I was starting to lose feeling. My hands lost feeling first.

This was it. This was the end of me. With no sense of direction I had no way of getting back to her. I start to think of how much I've hurt her. She deserved better. I never should have dragged her into my world.

This is all my fault.

The girl I cared so deeply for was slipping through my fingers just as my existence was. How did it come to this? It seems like just yesterday I was lying beside her, listening to her beautiful different heart beat. Feeling her chest rise and fall under my arms as she slept. Her smile lighting up the darkness inside of me.

I wasn't made to love, I was made to destroy..

But she.. she changed me for the better. If my cold lifeless heart had a beat, it would only beat for her.

I swear it did at one point..

I sigh in defeat and let myself begin to fade.

I can't do this alone..

I close my eyes and listen to the silence. Suddenly I hear that familiar abnormal heart beat ringing in my ears. My hands slowly began gaining feeling and my palm pulsed with the heart beat.

Was my mind playing tricks on me. This was cruel.

"I f-forgive you." I hear Laura's breathless voice say in a distance. I instantly jump up and run towards the sound of her heart beat. It was hers. The one I could sense apart from anyones. I knew i was close because the the beat only got louder. I ran until my body hit a transparent wall that seemed almost like glass. Behind it was Laura, her throat being gripped by my hand while my other hand is placed against her heart.

"Laura!!" I start banging on the glass trying to break through.
"Laura please stay with me!!" Tears begin to fall from my eyes. My strength was starting to build up and I was no longer fading.

She places her hand on my zombie-bodies cheek and I can feel the warmth on mine from behind the glass. She was building up her breath to say something.

"I love you Carmilla." She says as perfectly as she can. I feel my body go numb. She.. she loves me.. It was enough to send me on a rampage.

She will not die like this! Not in my hands!

I bang the glass as hard as I can watching it shatter before me. I close my eyes guarding my face from the shards with my arms.

When I open my eyes I'm back in my body. I'm back! I release my grip on laura's throat quickly as she coughs gasping for air. Tears streaming down my face. How could I hurt her so much.

"Mircalla? Finish her already!" I hear my mother yell from afar behind me. I shake my head trying to bring my senses back. My body was a lot stronger now. I could feel my strength as I held Laura gently due to her fragile state.
