Epilogue (Is this the end?)

It's been weeks since Carmilla died and was brought back to life. It has also been weeks since we had last seen or heard from the dean. We took this all as good signs. It was Thanksgiving and the gang decided to spend it with each other rather then with family this year. Strange how we all wanted to leave Silas for good and now that we can we decide to stay close to it, huh?

Carmilla managed to get us an apartment not too far from the school for temporary use. She didn't want to stay in the dorm for the holidays and she didn't want anyone to know about our secret place, so we'd spend our time in this apartment when we had company. I didn't mind that one bit.

I help Perry in the kitchen while Carmilla, Laf, Danny and Kirsch enjoyed the usual football game in the other room. Carmilla wasn't into the game at all but she said she'd 'Try' and get along with my friends for the day. Wonder how that's going.

"I think the turkey's done Laura, I'm gonna take it out to the table and start cutting it" Perry says with an overjoyed smile on her face. "Could you finish up the stuffing and gravy and bring it out when it's done please?"

I smile and nod as she walks out the kitchen's swinging door. I was stirring the gravy for a bit humming Christmas tunes to myself when I suddenly feel two warm arms snake around me from behind. I could identify those hands with my eyes shut.

"Carm?"

She places a gentle kiss on my cheek and lays her chin on my shoulder.

"It's a little early to be humming Christmas tunes don't you think, cupcake?" She says placing little kisses on my neck.

I laugh and blush a bit.

"Oh you heard that?"

She nods her head still nibbling at my neck, gently grazing her fangs against my skin due to a smile forming on her face.
I turn around to face her while her arms are still around me. I place my arms on her shoulders and we place our foreheads together closing our eyes and embracing each others touch.

"Shouldn't you be watching the game?" I open my eyes to find hers staring at me smiling.

"I think I've spent enough time with the dimwit squad. As amusing as Xena and the puppy dog's fighting over whose team is better is," she places a kiss on my nose, "I'd prefer to be with my girlfriend."

I can't help the huge smile she causes to form on my face.

"Besides, shouldn't you be cooking something?" She laughs teasing me.

"For your information it's all finished." I say sticking my tongue out at her. She laughs at me.

"Stick that tongue out one more time and you'll regret it." She says trying to intimidate me.

"Oh, I'm so frightened" I say sarcastically trying to press her buttons sending her a teasing smile. She raises an amused eyebrow and smiles like she knows something I don't.

She presses my body against the counter and I grip onto her shoulders. She grabs my waist and picks me up to sit on the counter, placing herself in between my legs.

"Carm not here" I laugh and she sends me her usual seductive eyes slowly placing kisses on my neck.
"C-carm I'm s-serious." I stutter trying to contain myself.

She brings my face to hers placing a heated long kiss against my lips. It was hard to refuse so I kiss back running my hands through her hair roughly.

"Don't mean to break up the love fest," Laf's voice comes from the kitchen door. I pull away from Carmilla feeling flustered and she rolls her eyes helping me off the counter.
