I know what you're thinking dear reader. Your thinking why does this girl keep starting paragraphs with 'I know what your thinking' all the time? Your saying to yourself 'I know what I'm thinking, I'm one of the few people who actually does know what I'm thinking. What would be a revelation is to know what your thinking, now and again'. Why not start a paragraph with 'you know what I'm thinking'?' Well, your right.
You know what I'm thinking? Well clearly not otherwise you would have skipped this bit as irrelevant. To be honest if you did know what I was thinking
a) that would be pretty cool you've got to admit and
b) could you email me because I'm really not sure what I'm thinking any more.
I mean, I think about Dante a lot, but not in some kind of 'love sick' flat fish way but in why couldn't you ask me out on a date when I arrived, before I punched you kind of way. Dante isn't my type ( tall, firmly toned body and a stomach like a M1 Abrams tank track and arrogant with it, doesn't push my buttons, other views on what is or is not sexy are available ) but each time I get pushed further and further from him I'm getting irritated. It's like there is a strange force pulling us togeterh.
Dante and I are like finding a volcano emerging from a glacier. Hot, freezing, steamy, potentially pyrotechnically explosive but the ice still hasn't melted. I wish I could know if Dante liked me or not. Look if you do know what I'm thinking, they you will know already what I really need to know is what Dante is thinking. If you know what I'm thinking then you really should make yourself useful and get on to Dante's wavelength and figure out what he is thinking and then tell me.
It's been a few weeks and Dante is still not talking to me. I'm not surprised either. He keeps talking like getting engaged to be married and not telling people about it is a 'big thing'. It'snot is it? I mean your with me on this right ? - you must be because you know what I'm thinking. By the way if you do know what I'm thinking could you get a serving job in Tony's Pizza shop just off Musk Square in First foot print city? The one with the yellow sign, like every time I go there I never know what I want. It's the only place on mars you can get some seriously exotic pizza, like algey fed sea bass with walnut , goats cheese and chives. I can never figure what I want when I go. The place has got over 14,000 pizzas it can make. It has an interactive table just to figure out which region of pizza menus you might like to look at the list of. So yes if someone worked there who knew what I was thinking it would be a huge help.
If you don't know what I am thinking you probably want to know where I am. Well if I told you I'm a home worry about what Dante is thinking about me it would be a lie.
I was at a bookshop called Big Als' book emporium with Io, George, Kentro and Kindra.
We made a trip to a bookshop in London in a street called Charring Cross Road. Io was making a guest appearance for Kindra Soul and the Upchuck Charity. Some robot author had written a children's book called 'Io's Sky' which was a fictional account of a young girl growing up on a space ship full or robots thinking she was a second class robot. It had jumped into the top 42,000 list of most popular children's' books in the solar system, just ahead of the very hungry caterpillar. Robot's read to most children in bed and helped select what the children 'might like and find informative and stimulating' so the AI which was the publisher had thought it might appeal to the 'robot who reads to me' market.
I hoped they shifted a lot of these books quickly. If Io's photos and videos were released I don't see the parents of earth being keen on their children reading books by the 'naked jiggly robot' girl. Machines did all the writing. I guess it was inevitable that machines would take over writing. After all their spelling and grammar would be so much better than ours that human authors would always come second to robot ones.
