Chapter 19
BEAU
We held eachother in our arms like there was no tomorrow, we moved to the beat. I swear in that moment we were infinite. All my worries, all my stress all my fears had magically gone away somehow.
Then without warning we were thrown back into reality. Zoe told
me she felt dizzy. Her skin was looking paler than usual. We both stopped dancing and she sat on her bed.
"My head hurts Beau, it hurts a lot"
I walked over to the speakers and turned off the music by plugging it out of the socket.
"Zoe?" I walked back over to her bed.
No answer. She didn't move.
"Zoe please answer me!" I cried and shook her lifeless body.
No reply.
I ran out to the corridor and called the nearest nurse. The nurse wheeled Zoe's bed out of the room.
"What's wrong with her?" I asked feeling myself shake more every second.
"We aren't sure, I will keep you updated though" the doctor said quickly.
They pushed Zoe in her bed through the double doors and then, she was out of my sight.
I felt as I was in complete daze. I wandered to the reception and saw Joyce.
"Joyce. I need you to contact Zoe's parents"
