Chapter 7: The truth

"Is Melody Collin here?" Those were the words that got my eyes to go wide. In the doorframe stood my mother; it was many students that looked at her, wondering what she did here. To be honest, I did too.

"Yes and why are you asking ma'am?" our teacher said. I didn't want her to find me. And at least I would like to know why she's here, and want to talk with me when I was in school.

"I'm her mother and I need to tell her something important," mom answered. She actually thought she could come in here and claim to be my mother when she didn't even care for me?

I stood up. "You're not my mother!" I growled at her. She looked taken aback by what I said. "You never were! When dad was alive you treated me like a princess! Then he died and you locked me out, because I looked like dad! You took care of Thea, because she looked like you! And when you got the chance, you send me away! From my family, from my friends! You could at least try to be a mother. I learned to live without my parents, because you shut me down! I HATE YOU!"

I couldn't believe I said that. I was growling and then someone made a comment, "her eyes are black." I stormed out and bumped into my shocked mom at the way. I walked out of the classroom, but crashed into someone. I looked up and was met by a pair of warm brown eyes. I looked at the man, and saw he must be around my mother's age.

He wore a shirt and his blonde hair was messy. He was tall, but he looked familiar. "I'm sorry," I muttered and walked past him. I herd gaps from the class. I wonder why, was this man kind of a leader.

Than fuck that. I didn't care. The man grabbed my arm to hold me still. "You need to calm down, Melody," he said. I had heard his voice before. I looked up and I couldn't believe what I saw. I couldn't believe he stood here and was holding my arm.

Tears started to form in my eyes, but I let them fall. I cried. "Dad," I said, I hugged him and he hugged me back. I heard more gasps from the class, but my attention was at my dad I thought was dead.

"You aren't dead," I said, touching his face. He smiled and nodded; I once again threw my arms around his neck and hugged him close. "How are you alive?" I asked, but my voice cracked. He smiled at me and said we should take it home. I didn't argue. I wanted to go home with my dad.

I followed after him. I saw my mom follow and I ran to the car. I got in the passenger seat and dad in the driver. Mom got the backseat, I snickered.

"So how have you been?" he asked. Did he not hear my speech? Wow, weird man. He reminds me of me. Oh, he's is so my dad. "Terrible," I muttered and he looked sad, maybe because he left us and mom said he was dead.

I was silent the rest of the trip. Dad tried to make small talk with me, but I shut him out. I didn't want to talk right now.

He turned in to the house, no mansion. It was huge. The mansion had four stories and on the second there was a balcony in front of a set of double glass doors. I looked at it in awe. Dad and mom got out, I followed. When I got in it was many people there, all elderly, apparently since the young are in school.

I followed after dad, he went into a office and I took a seat in front of him. I couldn't believe he was still alive after all this years I thought he was dead.

"So," I said when he sat down. "How?" He sighed. "Have you heard of werewolves?" he asked. I looked dumbfounded at him, of course I have heard of werewolves, have he not seen twilight? I nodded and he continued.

"Well, I'm an Alpha; an Alpha means you are the one that are in charge. Well I was on a business trip, when I met your mom. She was my mate, a mate is your other half-" I cut him by saying I knew what it was. I had been reading books.

"Ok, so, I met her, and she of course lived in Norway. She was also a werewolf so I didn't need to be so careful, than we got you. Everything was perfect; you were a perfect little girl, never asked questions. When your mother got pregnant with your sister, I got a message from the one that ruled the werewolves. I needed to get back in three months, or they would kill your mom.

"I didn't want anything to happen to her, and since she was a werewolf, the birth is happening five months instead of nine, and your mother was already three months, so I got to see my second daughter before I left. I couldn't take you with me, since I wasn't allowed. I don't know why, but I wasn't.

"Your mother thought I was killed by rouges, since I just left. I have always kept an eye on you, and I don't like the way your mother treated you, just because you looked like me. And the way you told on her in the classroom it was amazing."

After his little speech, I sat there taking this in. Ok, my parents are both werewolves, do that means I am? I'm not sure. I looked up and saw dad looked tenderly at me.

"Am I a werewolf?" I asked. "Yes." That was it. I'm dreaming and I can't wait to wake up.

"Normally you shift when you're sixteen, but you are special so you don't shift before a month after you met your mate," dad explained. I was still confused about this. How do I know who is my mate? Does it hurt to shift?

Like he could read my mind he answered, "You know who your mate is when you look into his eyes, than you feel sparks." I knew that feeling. Oh no. No, no, no, no. It can't be possible.

"I met him three weeks ago," I said, my face was blank. I will shift during this week. I could still not move. Dad looked happy, but I bet he want to know who is his.

"Who is it?" he asked. Hehe, what did I say! But I must tell him.

"Cole Robber."
