Chapter 19: Kiss

A week had passed and I felt as close to Kyle I could ever be. No, we haven't kissed. I could wait, but not too long.

Cole hasn't tried to call again and the thought that he's looking for me scared me, but Kyle said there was nothing to worry about.

"Mel!" My best friend called when she saw me over the hallway in school. I began school three days ago. I was nervous like I was when I started the other school a while back, but I already knew Kyle and he presented a girl and we began to hang out.

Yes, we have nicknames for each other. Her nickname for me is Mel, well everyone called me that, and mine for her is Alex. Her name is Alexandra.

"What's up Alex?" I asked when she came over to me. She was out of breath, like she had run a marathon. I giggled at the sight of her.

"Homecoming," she answered, still trying to get her breath back. Homecoming? Oh yeah, the prom. I must still get used to this. I still haven't said where I'm from, but they have also never asked.

I may not be going to it; one, I don't have anyone to go with. Two, I'm not in the mood for it. I've had my walls up since I saw Cole have sex with Rita. It doesn't hurt longer, like it did before I met Kyle. He has been like an eraser for the pain I had.

"I'm not going Alex," I said and rolled my eyes, "you know it." Alex had now caught her breath and stood in front of me.

She stood at 5'7, same as me, and had brown eyes and blonde eyes like me. In a way you would have mistaken us as sisters or even twins, but we're not. That reminded me about this "brother" I was supposed to have.

I still didn't believe in that shit Cole told me. Since I ran away, neither dad nor mom have tried to call or even find me. I guess they don't care about me enough, and Dad probably has he precious pack to take care of.

It kind of hurt my feelings that none of my parents were looking for me, I mean, I'm their oldest daughter and Thea is not even here. I think she isn't anyway.

"I know," she said, "but you never know what might happen today!" I could just see her smirk before she ran to her first class. We only had third, fifth and sixth period together, a bummer really. I love her to be in my classes, we make it actually fun being in them.

Wait, what the hell did she means with "you never know what might happen today"? I was pretty sure nothing was going to happen today, it was just an ordinary day.

I quickly got my books for first class and hurried down the hallway and to my class. I got to the class right on time.

"Ah, so nice of you to join us, Miss. Black," our history teacher, Mr. Bankman, said. We changed my last name to Black so they couldn't track me up.

I nodded my head and sat down at my desk in the back. The door opened right after I had sat down; in the doorway stood Kyle. I've never seen him in school before, but I just have been her in three days since Monday. He sniffed, not clearly so the humans noticed, but I could since I stared right at him.

He must have known I was staring since he looked straight up at me and smirked. I quickly turned my head so I was looking at the book in front of me. Kyle's footsteps came closer, but I tried not to pay attention. The only thing that was hard was that my body arched to be with him and wanted to let him hold me.

When my eyes finally moved from my book and upwards they came in contact with the electric blue ones of Kyle's. He stared at me, then at the desk.

Kyle glared at me. "This is my seat."

I rolled my eyes at his immature sentence. "Well, I've been sitting here for the last past days," I said back to him.

"It's still my seat."

"No, this is my seat now."

"No, it's fuc-" he was cut off by the teacher clearing his throat. We broke our glare at each other and turned our heads towards Mr. Bankman.

"I'm sorry Mr. Black, but she's right," he said sternly. I smirked at Kyle before he huffed and sat down at the desk beside me. I tried keeping the smile of my face, key word; tried.

The glass was soon finished and the students walked out, talking and laughing with each other. I walked to my locker to put my things into it and take my books for next period.

After I was done with this, I walked towards the art class. When I walked past the janitor's closet, I was quickly dragged into it. A squeal escaped my mouth before a hand was laid over it.

I was turned by the mysterious guy, I assume it's a guy, and looked into blue eyes and a smirk was just visible because the dim light in the closet. As I tried to wiggle free from his grasp, he only laughed at my attempts.

"You were a bad girl in class," he whispered huskily in my ear. My body shivered and I could feel my body lust for him. Since the closet wasn't too big, our bodies was pressed against each other. I could feel the heat radiate from him and my breath hitched in my throat.

"Do you want to know what I do to bad girls?" He continued to whisper to me. My body could soon not keep it to itself anymore. It was shaking so hard it was hard to stand, my hands were sweaty and my legs felt like jelly.

"Kyle," I said breathless. It wasn't so loud, but Kyle heard me and smirked at my word. His hand left my upper arms and moved down to my waist and sneaked them around it. I looked up into his eyes that flicked from mine and to my lips.

Kyle leaned in closer to break the small space that's left between us. His lips brushed mine teasingly, but I couldn't wait anymore so I smashed my lips on his. My arms went around his neck and brought him closer to me.

Kyle smiled into the kiss and the same did I. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, which I gladly granted. His tongue explored my mouth and mine his. I could feel the firework inside my whole body. We broke apart a short bit after and we were both breathless, but I couldn't help the grin that spread out on my lips.

"That was the most amazing kiss I've ever had," he said, sill with me in his arms. I nodded in agreement. No one I've ever felt like this before. I know I'm falling for him.

And I'm falling fast.
