Chapter 15: I'm not from Alaska
"I've been out for three weeks?!" I screamed. I've been out for three weeks?
My face fell and I got pale. Cole saw this and hugged me while I buried my head in his chest.
"What happened to me?" I asked my voice cracked at the end. He looked at me with a sad smile and his eyes resembled something bigger.
"Your body was taken over by the moon goddess to deliver a message she had given you, but you hold it a secret afraid of what to do," he said. I stared shockingly at him. My body was taken over by the moon goddess, I kind of knew what happened to me, but I wanted someone to say it. I was right, I was being held by a goddess, my life is getting weirder and weirder for every day.
I nodded at him and laid back into the hospital bed. I stared up on the selling, not knowing what to say or do. I let tears fall from my eyes and down my cheek, if I had told them before, I wouldn't be in this situation. Everything would be back to normal, well, our kind of normal.
Cole looked so broken there he sat beside me. I tried smiling at him, but my mouth wouldn't let me. He smiled back at me and took my hand. He held it tight like I was going to disappear right in front of him.
"I'm sorry!" I cried into his chest. "If I had told you none of this things would happened!" I couldn't see him but I heard him sigh. He rubbed his hand on my back to sooth me, and it worked.
"Melody, none of this was your fault," he said. The door opened and dad and mom came in. I didn't see the point in mom being here, but dad in another way.
"How are you sweetheart?" he asked and sat down on a chair beside me. I smiled a little; he was a nice father to me.
"I'm good," I answered and I heard my mom cough. I looked at her and rolled my eyes, I didn't care about her.
"Mom, if you're not here to visit me," I said nicely at her, "Then fuck of."
I didn't regret saying those things, I just said the truth. Cole chuckled lightly that made me smile. Dad, of course, saw this and winked at me. I, being me, blushed and burrow my face in a pillow.
Mom did actually go. Something I was very happy for.
"We must tell her, she got the prophecy," Cole said. They knew I was right here, right? I coughed and they heads turned to me.
"I can hear you, you know," I said and rolled my eyes. Cole blushed a little, but I found that extremely adorable. Dad sighed and looked me straight into my eyes.
"Every ten thousand year comes The Moon Luna; she's sent by the moon goddess and is here to try to resolve something that happened with where she came from. The Moon Luna is only alone every twentieth thousand year, because she is mate with The Moon Alpha when he walks on earth.
"The Moon Alpha is to protect his mate at all cost, and they could only do that if they mate. The bond of the Moon Alpha and the Moon Luna is so strong, not even the royals have that strong bond with their mate," dad explained.
I stared wide eyed at him with my mouth slightly open. The information I got was overwhelming.
"Am I the. . . Wolfey thing?" I asked, I was not entirely sure what the name was. I'm not good to remember things someone says to me, only things I read.
Cole and dad burst out laughing at me, I growled at them. That shut them up, they looked a little afraid.
"Yes, you're the Moon Luna."
I felt dizzy. I couldn't be that woman, I'm not that brave. Cole went to me and sat down beside on the bed.
"What are you then?" I asked him, my voice was weak and fragile. His eyes was soft and such a strong color of green.
"The Moon Alpha," he sighed. That meant our bond was stronger than normal people.
"We need to go back to Alaska," he smirked. Why the hell is he smirking?
Dad looked confused. Well, he didn't know I said I was from Alaska to everyone.
"Aren't you from N-" I cut him off by standing up and take a hand over his mouth, so the rest of the sentence was in muffled voices.
"I'm sorry I've lied to you, Cole, but I'm not from Alaska," I said. He nodded and smirked.
"I know, continue," he said, still with a stupid smirk plastered on his face, and I widened my eyes. This is embarrassing.
"I'm from Norway."
