Your POV

"Y/N, what do you think will become of us in the future?" I look over at my friend whose expression is serious.

"I don't know."

"I don't want want us to drift apart again. I couldn't live without you." I move my eyes back to the math equations we're supposed to be solving.

"Can we talk about this later?" I hear a faint 'yes' and continue my work. Besides the sound of pen scratching paper, our breathing and Green Day blasting from the CD player, the room is silent. This lasts for about five minutes.

"But seriously, Y/N. I couldn't do it."

I sigh and look over at Phil. "Couldn't do what?"

"Live my life without you."

"Oh yeah?" He nods. "What if I become a bitch?" I begin to test him.

"Language. And I wouldn't care."

"What if you get married to royalty?"

"You're all the royalty I need." I blush.

"Okay, then. What if you become famous and you go on tours. Would I matter then?"

"Yes!" He shouts and looks at me in horror. "Y/N, fame could never change our friendship. If I am to become famous, you're joining me and we'll be famous together."

"What if I move away? Which won't be happening."

He looks deep into my eyes. "Then, if we're famous in this scenario, I would use fame to find you again. It will go down in history as the greatest reunion of all time."

I chuckle. "You're such a dork. It's too adorable." I watch as his cheeks turn red and laugh harder. "Now can you stop being cheesy and let me do my work? Unless you want me to fail maths."

"Okay. I'll shut up."

~Time skip~

I put another large spoonful of ice cream in my mouth and moan, earning a look from Phil.

"Do I need to leave you alone with that ice cream?"

"Yes. Get lost." I look up at Phil who pouts. He nods his head and begins to stand while pretending to sniffle. He stops at the kitchen door and I glare at him. "Ever heard of privacy?" I try to make my voice sound as cold as possible without laughing.

"I wanna eat my ice cream, too." I pull a face and pose as if I'm thinking about it while Phil stares at me with puppy eyes.

"Okay, fine." He runs in and jumps onto his seat.

"Oh, ice cream. I've missed you," he says as he scoops some out of his bowl and pops it into his mouth. I watch as he scrunches up his face and places his hands on his head. "Brain freeze!" He jumps up and starts running around the room as I cackle. I laugh so hard that I lean back and fall off my chair. Phil stops running and screaming.

"Oh my God! Y/N! Are you okay?"

"Yep," I try to sit up but it hurts too much. "No, I'm not okay, call 999!"

"You're such a Y/N, Y/N," Phil chuckles as he bends down and slides his arms beneath me, lifting me up. I look into his eyes for a while. I feel my cheeks begin to heat up.

"You can put me down now, Philly."

He shakes his head. "I don't want to."

"Then what do you want to do?" I smirk. His stare flicks to my lips then back to my eyes. I stare deeply into his eyes as he slowly leans in. My heart pounds as my eyes slowly shut. I can feel Phil's breath against my lips.
