~One week later~

Your POV

"What do you mean, you two aren't 'actually dating'?" Kat gasps.

Unable to answer, I just shrug.

"So, what? You two just, like, fool around?" Another friend of mine, Anne, asks, confused.

"It's complicated," I mutter.

"Well it better stop being complicated soon, or I'm going to slap some sense into the both of you."

"What do you want me to do, Kat? Hold him at gun point until he asks me out?" I snap.

"You could ask him out," Anne suggests.

"No!" Kat objects. "She should do anything but that. She doesn't want to seem too desperate."

"Girl talk that will probably never make sense," I groan.

"Shut up, you asked us to come over," Kat warns.

"All I said was I wanted to go see Phil and next second you barged into my room! 'Asked you to come over' my arse!"

"She's got a point," Anne pipes in.

"Fine, but she obviously needed us here. I mean, she is the only girl I know who grew up without dresses and Barbies. Not to mention her best friend since... forever is a guy who should be her boyfriend right now," Kat responds.

"I've got this. I'll just give him time, that's what he needs," I smile reassuringly at the girls.

I hope I'm right.

Phil's POV

"Kyle, I don't know what to do," I panic as I talk to Kyle on the phone.

"It's easy. You just walk up to her, say, 'Girl, I love you. Will be my girlfriend?' and bam. If she says yes, you're in."

"Oh, yeah. A really romantic first date and a week later, 'will you be my girlfriend?', that's definitely the way to ask her," I say sarcastically.

"Well what do you have in mind?"

"That's why I called you!" I snap.

"Just think about it for a while, then. I think if you take your time to think up of something then have a really romantic way of asking her, she's one-hundred percent going to say yes," he says, proudly.

I sigh. "It better work or I'm going to kick your butt... or probably get Kat to do it." He laughs.

"Bye, Phil."

"Bye," I say and hang up. When I do, I hear a knock from the front door and jump off the bed.

I rush down the stairs and open the door to reveal the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen, smiling.

"Hey, Philly," she giggles.

"Hey, Y/N/N." I lean in and plant a kiss on her lips. "Anything you'd like to do on this fine day?"

"Video games?" She suggests with hope in her eyes.

"You read my mind," I chuckle and let her in.

~Time skip~

After about two hours of playing video games, I lay in my bed with an arm around Y/N and her head resting on my chest.

"Y/N?" She hums so I continue. "I mean it whenever I say we should run away together."

"Where would we run to?"

"I don't know, wherever we want to. Of course, we'll have to wait until highschool is over."

"That's too far away," she groans.

"I know it is. But we should at least finish school, for our parents."

"Yeah, I guess so. What... what do you think will happen to us by then? What will we be?"

"Hopefully like we are now, but better," I look down at her, only to see her frowning. "Y/N?" She looks up into my eyes and I smile warmly. "I love you."

Her lips tug into a smile. "I love you, too." She turns over so her belly lays on the bed and pecks my lips before snuggling into my chest.

I love you more.
