“You have your love” I held his face “Do not give that up for me I put my hand on the door handle” Seth gripped my arm

“Seth Please” I begged “Let me go in alone”

“Not happening sweetheart” Brae and Star stood behind us “It’s all or nothing and I’m done with this asshole trying to kill us”

“I’m with Brae” Star shrugged as she straightened her clothes

“I go in alone first”

“He’s going to know we’re all here anyway” Brae shrugged

“More the reason for me to go in and distract him” I opened the door and walked in quickly locking it behind me

“Damn it” I heard Seth moan from the other side I walked down a hallway I’d never actually been in this part of the house, a blood curdling scream echoed off the walls and I heard a female voice begging for death to come to her” I pushed open a door to a room that reminded me of the fighting room I’d trained in Only in this room there were shackles and chains on the walls Mia’s body hung naked and covered in blood, her face contorted in a look of pure pain and horror, I looked to the other figure hanging by her wrists. My eyes grew wide at the sight of Marla As a figure moved against her in the same action I’d seen Iagan do with Mia in the Library.

“Please My Lord” She screamed “I cannot”

“Shut up you worthless whore you will take me” my father voice came out as a growl “All women will feel my wrath you’re all worthless”

“I want to die” she cried as I saw the blood running down her thighs to the floor my hand went to my throat as my father took a step back a club like object dropped to the floor nails sticking out of it covered in flesh and blood

“Even my own daughter will not do my will you’re all whores” he yelled as he shook his head before gripping her throat “A child is that too much to ask”

“LEAVE HER BE” I stepped out “It’s me you are angry with” My Father looked round

“How did you get in here passed the…”

“They were taken care of” I cocked my head

“You failed me… you did not lay with him… He walked toward me

“No I didn’t and I’m not going to either… I’m not giving you a child to mold and manipulate” we seemed to circle each other “and the things you did to Star and Seth” He narrowed his eyes at me “You lied to me and gave half truths… you used Seth and you tried to use me and it’s going to end” I balled my hands throwing them forward balls of fire spinning toward my father. He held up his hands absorbing the fire

“You’re weak Kendra” he flicked his wrist a red whip cracked through the air catching my face and neck wrapping round and bringing me to my knees “You let mortals get to you” he walked closer to me “I created you I will take your life away, I should never have used your brother’s essence to create you I should have known better” he pulled the whip choking me as my hands became bound by some force.

“My brother is more of a pure immortal then you imagine” I gasped as he dragged me across the floor

“How would you now” he hauled me up slamming my body against the wall

“Because we’ve met” Seth’s voice made my Father’s eyes gets wide “Kendra I told you not to have all the fun” Seth smiled at me as my father let go of me leaving me bound to the wall

“You’ve met?” my father was rattled seeing Seth

“Yes” Seth tapped his foot “Time for you to go old man”

“You are nothing Seth you cannot defeat me alone” My father laughed sending a whip out in Seth’s direction the crack sounded round the room as I gasped for air the bind round my neck cutting slowly into my flesh

“Now that’s not nice” Brae shook his head the end of the whip caught in his hand in midair “And here we were expecting an emotional reunion” he pushed his tongue in his cheek

“YOU” My Father’s voice rose

“Yup Me” Brae yanked on the whip breaking it’s link to my father “You want to take us both on”

“I can take you both” my father scoffed but not sounding totally confident

“What about all three of us” Star came from the left of the room lightning sparking from her fingers “I do not like you treating my sister-in-law the way you have and hell you’d be the grandpa from hell” she launched her hands forward sending bolts of electricity through everything metal in the room causing Marla to scream and hang limp as my Father ducked for cover. He balled fire and threw it at her as Seth Moved in front of her catching it and turning it to ice

“You’re out numbered”

“You can’t get out of here Gregor” Brae shouted

“I can and I kill her at the same time” He moved fast catching them all off guard as he pulled me from the wall “You don’t let me leave she dies slowly here head becoming slowly detached from her body” He forced me to my knees the whip round my throat tightening I could smell my blood and felt it run down my body “are you willing to let her die to kill me”

“Yes” the three of them nodded I felt my father stall not expecting that answer I struggled to keep my vision as it turned red

“You Lie”

“YOU DIE” Iagan’s voice brought my vision flooding back he was at my Father’s back his blade at his throat “You killed my family you raped my sister and used my love you need to pay Immortal”

“You are a fool Guardian she dies the bond you share means you die as well” My Father laughed nervously Seth and the other seemed frozen to the spot “Why do you think you and her share blood?”

“Well I die with the woman I love and I’m ready to die for her” My vision went black as the sound of something splitting filled my ears pain burned into my back as I heard running feet along with Star’s voice .

“Iagan throw the head into the fireplace”. My world fell in and darkness covered me along with cold like I’d never known, I was dying but they were free they were free to go on……………………
