…………. I fastened the belt of the robe as Iagan walked out of the bathroom and waited by the door to the room for me. he opened the door the sounds coming from down stairs were sounds of everyone eating. I followed him down the hallway to a set of stairs that lead up he stopped half away up and looked at me.

“I shouldn’t be bringing you here?’ He bit his lower lip “Your Father will not be happy”

“I asked to be brought here” I smiled weakly at him I could feel his nervousness tremble through me “I will take whatever my Father might do”

“Mo bhean  it doesn’t work like that” he moved his hand to touch the side of my face but dropped it quickly “This way” he carried on up the stairs to a hallway of faded wooden doors, I got an uneasy feeling about being up here, my hand found his fingers and I gripped them, he looked at me

“Where are we?” My voice barely audible

“It’s where we look after the sick and punished” he sighed stalling as a door opened and Mia walked out with Robbie trailing her, her cheeks flushed as they had been when Iagan had her in the library.

Iagan Took a deep breath as Mia saw us her eyes growing wide before she dropped to her knee her head bent, Robbie and Iagan locked eyes for a minute the dressing on his neck covering the wound from Iagan’s blade. He looked at me and he dropped his eyes away going down on to his knee.

“Where is my Sister?” Iagan’s voice was more of a command

“In the room she was brought to” Mia looked up at Iagan “She is sleeping Marla said for her not to be disturbed” she shot a side look at me, the smeel in the air was of her with a man but not Iagan.

“Marla’s orders do not concern me” I stepped from just beside Iagan, he let go of my hand  “And why are you up here?”

“She was tending to me mo bhean” Robbie swallowed hard and didn’t look at me “I needed to be patched up”

“Lucky you’re still breathing Robbie” The growl like words came from Iagan.

“Remember what I said Guardian” I warned him he just nodded and  went back to looking at Robbie “I’m sorry for crossing the boundaries My Guardian will apologize to you soon for his actions” I heard something muttered under Iagan’s breath. I put my hand on Robbie’s arm and caught the look of hate from Mia as I did so. “Is it usual for you to take two men inside of you in less than a day” the three of them all looked at me

“No mistress” she shook her head and dropped it low “I haven’t”

“Hmmm really so why do you smell like you did in the library” I bent putting my finger under her chin and making her stand, she was shaking in front of me… I looked round her at Robbie “Do you like taking the woman that has taken my guardian”

“Mo Bhean” Iagan was at my side in my ear “Don’t”

“No woman can take the guardian of an immortal” Mia’s voice trembled “It’s not done”

“Then what were you doing?” the red haze was descending “Do you need punishment?’ the words came out before I could stop them, my fathers voice seemed to fill my head.

“She is challenging you mo inion… the whore of the house is trying to weaken you and your guardian… destroy her for it… she is allied to your sister-im-law… loose your guardian to her and you will grow weak mo inion… HE IS YOURS”

I scream pirced the air as red tendrils snaked from my finger tips and wrapped round her throat the skin beginning to blister under them as she fell back to the floor

“KENDRA NO” Iagan pulled on my arm

“She wants all the men in this house, she wants to be taken by all the males to destroy me” my voice seemed to echo off the walls

“Iagan you have to stop her” Robbie gripped Iagan’s arm

Hands moved to my face and lips pressed down on mine the heat and the angry evaporated in an instant as footfalls came up the stairs. I opened my eyes as Iagan pulled back from me his eyes wide

“What is going on?” Marla’s voice demanded “Guardian why do you have the Mistress up here?”

“Shut up” I looked at her she dropped to her knee “Robbie take Mia to the nearest bed and stay with her” I was shocked by what had taken over me and I had done

“Mistress” Marla looked up at me “Your Father”

“Did I say you could talk to me” I bent down in front of her “Tend to Mia now and do not question anything I do or my guardian does or I will not allow you to breath for another minute in this house” She got to her feet other people hurried after her as I slumped against the wall.

“Mo bhean” Iagan stepped over to me

“Take me to see Anya” I looked at him “I’m sorry” the words came out quietly. Iagan put his arm round my waist and walked with em down the fair end of the hall and pushed open a door…………..
