"Finally, we're here!"

I squealed in delight once we got out of the car. It was only 2.30 pm, which means there was still plenty of time left for us to have fun.

"Alright, kids. We'll go and check in at the reception counter first. You guys okay with unloading the luggages first?" Dad asked. "Sure, Sir," Brenny answered politely. "Call me Sam," dad told him with a smile and walked away with the adults. I didn't know that the bad boy has a polite side too.

"Alright, let's get moving," I instructed and we got all of our belongings out of the trunk of our rented cars. "Hold on, but where do we move these to? We don't even know where we would be staying at." Paul pointed out. "You've got a point there. Why not just enjoy the view first?" Mel replied and pulled me along with her.

"We have a lot of pictures to take so walk faster!" She yelled and I agreed.

"Yes ma'am!"

As we got further away from the boys, their shouts for us to come back could be heard. However, we simply turned a deaf ear on their yelling and continued our way to the beach.

They can take this time to bond more.

We stopped in front of the vast beach and took in the magnificent view. It was simply perfection! In front of us was a majestic clear blue ocean and our surroundings was filled with golden sand. Th dazzling afternoon sunlight made those soft sand sparkle like a tiny thousand jewels and the only sound that could be heard were the seagulls screeching and the huge waves crashing against the shore.

The beach was not very crowded, which I was thankful for. Being in a beach that's packed like sardine was something I dreaded the most. Imagine being squashed by one whole group of people and not being able to relax and just enjoy yourself when you're supposed to be on a holiday. That sucks, right?

The smell of saltwater filled the atmosphere around us and the humid sea air just made everything even more peaceful and relaxing. This was just the ideal place for my vacation!

I won't even mind moving and staying here all alone by myself. Hmm... Or maybe I'll bring a puppy along with me and I can paint by the sea -

"Earth to my dearest Caitie!" Mel sung. I stopped building sandcastles in the air and immediately fished out my phone from my back pocket. "Selfie time!" I announced and looked for a good camera app that I just downloaded recently. We went to a good spot and started snapping a few photos of the amazing beach and then took tons of selfies together next.

I guess we've stayed here for quite sometime already because the boys were currently strolling in our direction, laughing away. They've both already changed into a pair of khakis with a simple black singlet, not forgetting their sunglasses.

Damn do they look hot!

"Our beach house is the one white in color. We'll be sharing it with Mel and Paul. The one both your parents are sharing is beside ours, on the right side." Brenny informed me as he approached us. "Thanks. I'll go and change with Mel first. It's super uncomfortable wearing long shirts under the scorching sun!" I whined and he chuckled.

"Alright, Lynnie, but don't take too long. I hate waiting, "

"Got it, Brenny!"

---

"This is perf-some!" I cheered.

"What did you just say? Perf-some?" Mel asked in a confused tone.

"Yeah! It's perfect plus awesome. So that makes it perf-some!" I smiled and she shook her head.

"Only you, Cait, only you."

Our beach resort was really beautiful. It was double story, with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The ground floor consisted of a small kitchen and a dining table at the side, with a television and couch in the middle. It felt really cozy! The walls were decorated with different types of seashells and the background was a simple scenery of the sea waves.

"Where are our stuffs?" I asked, rummaging through the rooms.

"Here!" Mel shouted from the opposite room. I followed her and took out a pair of red bikini out of the bag. It was strapless and had a mini bow in the middle of the front and it looked really cute. I went into the bathroom and changed into it, pulling my tank top over it with a pair of pink shorts. I took out my comfy sandals from my bag and slipped it on. When I got down the stairs, Mel was already there, waiting for me in only a pair of hot pink bikini. She looked absolutely stunning in it with her skin color and perfect hair.

"Are you going to take off those clothes now?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm not going to be a flasher!" I argued and crossed my arms over my chest. "You're not flashing! And you'll still have to take it off sooner or later. So why not just take it out now?" She reasoned. I sighed and unfortunately agreed and went upstairs again to put my clothes away. She was right though. Bringing my clothes with me would just make it more even troublesome.

"You look so sexy, my Lynnie!" Bren commented once we were back at the beach.

"You look hot too." I replied with a smirk.

Where did that sudden boost of confidence come from?

"I am always hot," he smirked and slid his sunglasses off.

That's true.

However, not wanting his ego to become any bigger, I simply rolled my eyes at his comment and proceeded to spread out one of the mats Mel bought down on the sand. I laid down on my stomach and let the sun warm my bare back.

I closed my eyes and just relaxed myself.

After a couple of moment of peace, Brenny broke the silence I was enjoying. "Lynnie! What are you doing here?" I turned my head a little to face him and cocked an eyebrow at him. "I'm tanning?" I asked in a 'duh' tone. He rolled his eyes and continued,"I'm not stupid! I can see that. But this is way too boring! C'mon, get into the water too!" I gave him a small smile and replied with a simple "No" and returned to enjoying the warmness on my skin.

"Are you sure?"

"Never been more sure in my life."

"Alright then." He replied sadly.  I  virtually did a happy dance in my mind, thinking : He's finally leaving me alone!

How wrong can I always get?

Seconds later, I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and soon, I was pulled off the ground.

Am I flying?

All hopes of me being able to fly faded away when my body was dumped into the salty and cold water. I let out a scream of surprise and during that process, I accidentally swallowed a few gulps of the seawater. Once I recovered from my coughing, a bark of laughter was erupted behind me. I realized who that laughter belonged to in seconds and got even more mad. Why can't he leave me the hell alone and let me enjoy the blissful sunlight?

Doesn't he understand the meaning of 'no' ?

That idiotic asshole!

"You are so going to get it from me tomorrow! Brennan Smith, just watch your back..."
