It is Monday - two days after Brenny has stopped talking to me.
I called and texted him, but he never replied.
I get that he might be pissed off or disappointed with me. But the least he can do is to clarify and talk things out with me first, before deciding to shut me out entirely. For two whole flipping days.
On the other hand, maybe I can't really blame him.
If I saw a picture of him and a girl intimately in bed, I bet I would be bawling my eyes out by now and drowning myself in my tears - just like how it happened when I broke up with Alex.
Well, minus the blade.
Fear not, I am way past that stage now.
Picking up a new set of clean clothes consisting of a pair of black long sleeved crop top and my dark washed skinny jeans, I took a quick shower before quickly changing.
Time to get my man back.
***
"Bye mum!" I yelled over my shoulders as I tired to hastily put on my boots at the same time.
"Be safe, love you! Bye!" She shouted back.
"Love you too!" I replied and grabbed my coat before closing the front door behind me.
Huge piles of sparkly white snow surrounded me, and large flakes fell from heaven as if the angels were having a pillow fight and fell to our humble homes.
Though beautiful, the snow was cold and sharp as it bit at my fingers and the wind kissed my cheeks.
I clutched my purse closer to my body and made my way quickly yet carefully to my car.
Why carefully? You ask me.
See when I was thirteen, I had a competition with Mel back at school, where we raced each other to the other end of the car park. It was also winter back then, and the floor was extremely slippery.
So, being the dumb person that I was, and still occasionally am, I came up with the competition.
We sprinted and just as I was about to reach the end, it suddenly felt as though I had two left legs.
I slipped.
You would've expected some type of prince charming to suddenly appear out of nowhere and pull me into his arms, right?
No.
My life is not a movie, unfortunately.
I lost my footing and even after flinging my arms wildly around, I couldn't find anything to hold onto for my dear life.
I face-planted on the icily cold ground and my entirely body ached with pain.
Of course, people around me found the scene in front of them amusing, because laughter soon started to fill the air.
Stupid inconsiderate humans.
I bet if they had popcorn with them, they wouldn't have hesitated to grab a chair and sit in that crazy weather to watch me fall again.
Hmph.
No one even bothered to help me up.
It was an exceptionally horrible day, but at least I'd made many people's day by making them laugh, right?
I'm such a humble and funny person. I know.
Right. Back to reality.
Shaking my head a little, I cringed a little at that memory and shuddered.
