Seth POV
"Bro, are you listening?" I heard Caleb. My eyes were fixed on Lauren and my mom, it seemed like they were having a normal conversation but I knew my mom would probably be threatening her for no reason.
"Yeah yeah." I shook my head.
He placed his hand on my shoulder, "You okay?"
"Yeah I was just thinking something." I drew back my attention towards Caleb and others. They were planning a trip out of the town.
I averted my gaze back at Lauren she wasn't there, suddenly my mom came on stage. I had a feeling of being something wrong.
I quickly moved my legs and made my way out of the hall, I saw Lauren and Kaycee.
"Lauren!" I shouted but she sat in the car and left.
Kaycee gave me a apologetic look. Anger, fear and disappointment raised inside me. I walked over to Kaycee, "What happened?" I knew my tone was stern because Kaycee was caught off guard by my sudden change.
"She wasn't feeling well." She stated.
"Don't lie to me." I said through gritted teeth.
"Y..your mom. She didn't say anything to me but I know your mom did something." She hesitated. I nodded and left the place.
I would deal with my mother later, I loosened my tie and angrily sat in the car. I ran my hand through my hair in frustration, why she always had to be the one to hurt her?
I drove to Kaycee's house, my speed was above sixty and I knew I would be pulled over in no minute but I had to reach to Lauren.
I halted my car and stormed in the house quickly, I ran up to her room. I was about to knock at the door but I stopped midway when I heard her cry.
She was saying something in between her sobs which wasn't clear to me. I wanted to went inside and held her in my arms. I wanted to soothe her, tell her I would be beside her always but something caught me.
I felt a tinge in my heart, why do I have to be so coward?
Why couldn't I just tell her that I love her?
With a heavy heart I took a step back, the more steps I took away from her the more pain I felt in my heart. I stormed off.
I drove to my basement, took my coat and shirt off, wrapped the white cloth around my hand and started punching the punch bag. I was literally pissed, no one had the right to make my girl cry.
Her sobs echoed in my ear, I got more crazy I realized the bag fell on the ground. I ignored it and started punching the wall. My knuckles were hurt but Lauren was hurt too.
Wasn't she?
I hit harder in the wall, an agony scream left from my mouth. All of a sudden a strong hand grabbed me by my shoulders, but I didn't stop punching the wall.
"Seth!" Dean's voice echoed.
"Stop! You're hurting yourself!" He held me tightly and pushed me away. I realized my knuckles were bleeding and they were sore.
"Bro calm down!" He said again I breathe in and out for few seconds. I pulled myself away from him.
"You can't hurt yourself like that." Dean said curtly.
"I'm not the one who's hurt." I hissed and made my way to room.
"Isn't this about that girl?!" He shouted. I slammed the door on my back.
