Gabby Henswer led them into her mansion and left them in her giant living room to get her daughter from the nanny. The room ovular shaped with four brown three seater couches, one next a large window, one on the wall and two next to each other in front of a large coffee table. A flat screen TV was placed where all the couches could see. A large portion of the room was dedicated to the toddler with a pen and thousands of little toys scattered everywhere. Genna made herself comfortable turning on the TV and sitting on one of the couches. Charlie sat beside her holding her hand. Sage helped Chelsea over to the couch against the window. Alvina and Lucy sat together on another couch whispering in each other’s ears. They left Blaze sitting alone on the last couch uncomfortably.

Gabby walked back into the room holding a small brown haired toddler, “This is Hana.” She waved the little girls hand. Genna studied the child. Hana  had a small tube connected to her hand and a little box in Gabby Henswer’s hand.

“She’s ill!” Genna got up and ran to her.

“Yes, she has cancer,” Gabby placed the frail girl in the goddess’s arms. “She was diagnosed a week after she was born.”

“She only has a month left,” Genna felt her heart.

“How did you know?” Mayor Henswer was only told herself a few days ago.

Genna placed Hana in the pen with the box and tube securely fastened to the side. The little girl breathed heavily. “Can you keep a secret?” Genna crouched down.

“Yes of course,” Gabby sat down on the couch with Blaze. Genna placed her hand over Hana’s heart. She thought about all the happiest things in life and a faint light came out of her hand. Genna took the IV out of Hana’s hand and tested her heart.

“She’ll live as long as humanly possible now,” Genna handed her to her mother.

Gabby hugged her daughter, who was now squirming around, “I don’t care what you are. You saved her and I am thankful. Stay the night and I’ll take you wherever you need to go in the morning. I’ll go get blankets and put her to bed,” She hurried out of the room.

“You can heal people?” Sage asked.

“Yes, I’m a goddess,” Genna laughed.

“Why did you do that. She could have turned us into area fifty-one thinking we were aliens or something!” Lucy said.

“Because that girl should not be cursed with a disease. Now she will live until it is truly her time to go.”

Gabby came back in with blankets and pillows. Each couch was big enough for two people, but it wasn’t at all comfortable. Chelsea slept on one couch will Sage. Lucy tried to sleep on a couch with Alvina, but she kept stealing the blanket so she moved over to where Genna was still wide awake crawling into the part of the couch remaining. Blaze was alone on the one couch and Charlie slept soundly on the floor. Genna laid wide away, her god-like mind not wanting to sleep. She knew she did the right thing for that girl and she felt a certain sense of pride.

The next morning they were greeted with eggs cooked in every style imaginable and the unhealthy smell of bacon. They Mayor had them wash up then sit at the dining room table for breakfast. Hana ran around the table like a maniac never needing to stop for a breath. She would yell at names and words every few second. Mayor Henswer let Genna watch over Hana as she went up to take a shower.

“Alvina? What happened to you before you got to the safe house?” Genna has been wanting to know since her files were read to them.

Alvina put down her fork after swallowing a huge bit of scrambled egg, “My mom was a super model. At age seventeen she got pregnant with me and had to end her career only to go into designing her own fashion line. She married a man and had three other kids. Compared to everyone else in my family, I was the devil. I would always get in trouble for stealing and running off on my own. I could not stand how stuck up they were so I devised a plan. I left the next morning knowing I had to erase my existence. I went and burned down all the building with my files in them. It would have worked if my idiot brother wouldn’t have told the police about my obsession with fires when my mom filed the report about me missing. I burned that too,” she remarked. “They sent me to juvy where I spent a week of my life. I figured out how to work the computers though so I hacked my way out. They never locked any of the door because the main one was computer activated. It was easy.” She smiled.

The Mayor walked through the door in a business dress and Burberry purse, “So where do you want to go?”

“Can you please drop us off at the nearest airport? Actually first can we please have access to your computer?” Genna got up and stopped Hana from knocking her head on the table.

“Sure, there is a computer upstairs,” she pointed to the marble stairs in the back of the house. Genna grabbed Alvina, who was still eating, an dragged her to the stairs. The silence in the back of the house was disturbing.  They opened the door and inside were Mayor Henswer’s work room. Two desk sat in the small room. One had medical files and the other had a computer and files that had the word Tanka on the front. Alvina sat down and started to hack into the airline’s private website.  She started typing and five minutes later she said she was done and went back downstairs. Everyone was ready, so they left. Gabby got in her minivan to drive them after she put Hana in her car seat in the back. The minivan was a lot more comfortable then the Mercedes and they were putting their trust in the hand of Gabby Henswer, which relaxed them enormously.

“When we get to the airport you have to pretend that I’m a princess from Greece. That was the only way we could get the flight you have to talk to me through Sage.” Genna said from the front seat. She wore a blue dress that went to her knees. It was Gabby’s dress from when she was Genna’s age. She pulled her curly hair back with a blue sparkly head band and put on some make-up. Gabby pulled up to the terminal entrance, got out and opened the door for Genna. Alvina, Sage, Charlie, and Lucy got out first. Charlie helped Genna out of the car and Blaze acted as a body guard. Genna’s backpack was handed to Chelsea to carry. Gabby took Hana out of her car seat and handed her to Genna.

“Will you live life to the fullest now?” Genna asked the little girl. “Play sports?”

     “Yaw,” she touched Genna’s face.

     “Good,” Genna kissed her forehead.

“Thank you so much,” Gabby Henswer hugged her. “I put my card into your backpack. Come see visit whenever you want. My door is always open.” She took Hana back. She waved good-bye then left as a man walked out of the airport.

“I am Paul. I will see you to your gate. We are very exciting to have royalty at our airport,” he smiled. “Follow me,” he headed back into the airport. He walked them through security and led them to the gate. “So are you flying back home,” he looked back at Genna. Sage translated and she nodded.

“Do you speak English?” he asked dumbly.

“No she doesn’t. I am her translator, Sage,” she shook his hand as they walked.

     “Pleasure! Who are all you?”

“They speak Greek too. This is Charlie and Blaze, her body guards, and these three girls are her lady’s in waiting. “

Great, we have the entire first class for you. We can board now before there is a line.” He led them onto the plane. They waited for Genna to sit in the third row. Charlie, acting as her body guard sat next to her.  Sage sat across from them with Chelsea. Alvina walked up to the front and sat down on out of the big blue seats. Lucy went and sat next to her leaving Blaze alone, again.

“I will be leaving now. Just remember that if you need anything Stella is here and can speak Greek,” he left them.

A stewardess came over and got their drink orders. She seemed quit uncomfortable. She shook as she brought them their drinks, setting them on the tray. Once they were finished the plane took off. It elevated in to the sky at great speed until it reached ten thousand feet. Genna wasn’t tired, but she was so bored. She placed her head on Charlie’s shoulder and closed her eyes.
