After an hour and a half of constant walking the demigods reached a huge house. It was lined with lights and engraved symbols made of gold. Along the one side there were seven windows, and a glass dome where you could probably get to from the living room.
“This is the safe house?” Genna asked dumbfounded.
“Yes, it’s not as amazing as it seems. When put all the demigods in this thing then it’s just a house of endless noise.” Lucy and Charlie ran ahead.
Everyone walked up the marble steps, and Sage opened the white classical door. On the right when they walked in was a kitchen with two fridges, an island stove, and a two door microwave. The bathroom was next to the kitchen painted yellow with dandelions on the sink. To the left was a huge living room with two couches, four chairs, a long marble coffee table, and toys in the back for the littler ones. The dining room could be accessed through a door off the living room. It had more than twenty wooden chairs with comfortable white cushions, and a long wooden table with gold engraved symbols around the rim similar to the ones surrounding the house. Straight ahead were marble spiral stairs heading towards the unknown.
Sage and Charlie gazed unimpressed at the shiny white walls and wooden cabinets in the main hall. Lucifiera and Calvin both rushed to the bathroom, but Cal got there first and slammed the door on her infuriated face. Seth and Chelsea collapsed into one of the white couches in the living room. Genna stopped by the door and fixed your eyes on the stupendously polished house.
“Where is everybody?” she wondered. “Aren’t there other demigods that live here?”
“Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can. Once everyone is out of their rooms it will be a mad house.” Lucy said gallingly.
Genna didn’t like the quiet although it seemed everyone else enjoyed it like it would be the last breath of fresh air. Cal exited the bathroom and headed for the kitchen.
“Cal, please wait. It’s probably almost lunch.” Sage sighed. “Be respectful.”
He stormed out of the kitchen and slumped into a white couch next to Chelsea. Genna walked in the living room gazing down at the white carpet. The white wall was lined with pictures with names underneath them in frames. Genna named off the gods as she saw the portraits. Zeus’s picture was the biggest with Poseidon’s and Hades a little smaller. She looked at Poseidon’s blue eyes and brown hair. She noticed a little resemblance, but not as much as she did when she looked at Athena’s photograph. Her cheekbones, nose and eyes were the same, well almost, sometimes when she looked in the mirror she saw gray eyes and sometimes she saw blue eyes. She went and sat on the couch opposite to Cal, Chelsea and Seth. Lucy sat on the couch beside her after she went to the restroom. Soon Chelsea fell asleep on Cal’s shoulder and Cal and Seth were both lazily leaning on the armrests of the couch.
