Lucy turned over and saw that Genna was not present. She got out of bed and crept over to Genna’s backpack. She took out one of the pearls and crushed it in her hand. The mist swirled around her enveloping her in a ball and disappeared to reveal her father’s bedroom. Persephone was with her mother now so he was all-alone.
“I am guessing you want something?” he patted his bed for her to sit down.
She walked and sat on the edge, “Can you tell me where a soul is? She used to be dead.”
“I can tell you, yes.” He said.
“”Where is Mandi Brooks?”
“She is Minnesota, her home town.”
“Thank you dad.” She got up to got up to go.
“I want you to be at Genna’s party in two nights.” Hades walked over to her and kissed her forehead. “Bring her home safely. She cannot transport between far places and that mirror won’t hold all of you.”
Lucy was engulfed by the mist once again and was taken back to her room where Genna was fast asleep once again. She climbed back into bed and had no trouble falling back to sleep.
She woke up a couple hours later. Genna was up, so she lazily slumped out of the room. Alvina and Genna were sitting on the counter with the lap top while Sage, Blaze and Charlie were sitting on the couch. Chelsea almost looked like she had fully recovered overnight but with all the nectar she’s been drinking it was believable.
“Morning sleepy head,” Charlie threw Lucy an orange from the room service tray.
She caught it then sat down, “I went to go see my dad last night. He says the mirror won’t work with all of us.”
“I know. That’s why we’re trying to get plane tickets.” Genna turned around in her seat.
“I’m trying, but we can’t get tickets without a credit card.” Alvina banged her head in the counter top. “I’m going to try to hack it.” She typed furiously on the keys. Genna got up and went to take a shower.
“You can trust me,” Blaze directed towards Sage.
“You were with Cassidy!” Sage got up.
“I was with her because she’s Charlie’s sister. Do you know who has been supplying you with weapons all these years?” Blaze defended herself. “I have.”
Sage didn’t know what to say, “You can stay with us, but just remember who holds all the cards here.” Sage got up.
“Who, Genna.” Blaze laughed.
Sage huffed and slapped the door of the main bedroom.
“Just leave her alone for now,” Charlie said “She’ll come around.”
“I got it,” Alvina got up and started to dance. “ I hacked into the Las Vegas Airport website, and got us all first class tickets to Greece.”
“First class tickets? Won’t that cause suspicion?” Genna came out of the room with wet hair.
“Genna is a princess of Greece. She only speaks Greek and we our her servants.” Alvina said. “I wrote a notice for the airport.”
“Can any of you guys speak Greek?” Genna asked.
“Sage can, the rest of us will stay quiet. She’ll be your translator.” Alvina arranged.
“I guess it’ll work,” Sage stormed out of the room with her bag. “Genna get your backpack. We’re going to the airport.”
