The party was a success but what was left of it was a complete and utter disaster. Maine Mendoza walked across what was supposed to be a game room and assessed the damage.
"Shit. Lagot ako kay tatay." She took a deep breath then started tying her hair up.
"Tutulungan naman kita eh. Ako bahala. Lilinis din yan." Beside her stood RJ. He removed his watch and his bracelet to avoid it getting messed up while cleaning the room.
They started picking up the bottles and food containers followed by mopping and wiping surfaces and in a short amount of time, they were both done. RJ stood there arranging the 15 balls on top of the billiard table.
"Maaga pa gusto mo mag-laro?" Maine said. She really wanted to play earlier but unfortunately, she became the party mom and playing it was pushed aside.
"Sige ba. What are the stakes?" RJ replied. Even though he knows he's gonna lose for her, he wanted to seem competitive just so he could even the odds.
"Di ba pwedeng friendly game lang?" Maine said. She raised an eyebrow knowing where this will lead to.
"How 'bout strip billiards?" RJ blurted out. He was surprised at himself for even suggesting it.
"Ang harot mo. Sige. Opponent loses an item of clothing if the player gets a score." Maine saw him glancing at his watch and bracelet. "Wala nang magdadagdag ng items. Game na."
"Ladies first." RJ said.
"Anong ladies first. Mauna ka. Para ikaw una magtanggal ng damit." Maine laughed but niether of them was prepared for what happened next.
RJ hit the cue ball hard and it sent all the balls flying in different directions but they didn't expect how lucky he was that night. Each ball fell inside a hole leaving the cue at the center, making him the winner of the game.
"What the?" Maine was shocked. RJ stood beside her also shocked but he slowly looked at her, his smile fading into a smirk.
"So..."
"Unzip me?" Maine winked then she turned her back to him. She heard him gulp before moving behind her and unzipping her dress. "Alam mo ang daya mo."
"Bakit?" His fingers were shaking as it slid down her back.
"Kasi ako lang magtatanggal ng damit. Di man lang kita nabawasan kahit isa." She slowly faced him after he finished unzipping her dress, shedding it right before his very eyes, leaving her in her undergarments that left nothing to the imagination.
She closed in on the space between them then placed her hands on his waist. "Eh kung tanggalan kita ng damit? Aangal ka ba?" She traced her fingers on the skin just above the garter of his underwear.
"Naglalaro pa ba tayo?" RJ broke a sweat. His shorts tented obscenely between both of them.
"Panalo ka na diba?" After hearin her say those words, his hands found its way to her head and pulled her in for a kiss.
He lifted her towards the pool table, laid her there as he removed his shirt and shorts, then made his way back on top of her.
And just like that, there was one mess they weren't able to clean. It will take sometime explaining that to her dad.
That night, he may have won the game, but he never once won her game.
