Jacko and Ley weren't talking.
In fact, no one was. Everyone was shouting over the music. Jacko had claimed he didn't send any texts, but Ley wasn't buying it, not after all his talk of humiliating Sabrina. And then to make matters worse, cars began pulling up, students filing through the door with alcohol and stereo systems.
Now, music was blaring, people all over the place were drunk and I couldn't find anyone. I shoved past all the sticky bodies, the heat in the house unbearable. As I entered the lounge, the room went dark and the TV flickered on.
I, like everyone else, was utterly confused. What the hell was going on?
"Hey, what the fuck? Who turned the fucking music off?" someone hollered.
Any other shouts that were about to arise died out when a clip on the TV began to play.
On the TV screen, a clip of Sabrina in the school bathrooms began to play. Sabrina was applying lip gloss in front of the mirror, and she was talking to her posse.
"Gosh, I hate this school. Did you see what Melinda was wearing today? So tragic. And Nita? That girl needs to get some lessons on being more ladylike. Ugh, this whole school is tragic. Even the guys are puke worthy. Well except Ryan, Ollie and them. Don't you girls agree?" Sabrina complained, smacking her lips together.
The screen went black, the video over. Shouts went up everywhere, people obviously outraged that the Queen has been trash talking us all. All eyes sought her out, and finally, we all spotted her trying to escape. Angered shouts flew around the room, as people tried to chase her.
Soon everyone was chasing her, leaving only my friends and Ryan. Ley looked on the verge of a breakdown, so Nita, Lissie and I offered to accompany her to the bathroom. She defiantly shook her head no, then lunged for Jacko,
"Are you happy now? Is this what you wanted? To ruin my birthday by throwing a huge party, to trash my house, all to expose Sabrina, because of a petty revenge screen? Well, congratulations! You succeeded, you prick!" Ley ranted, grappling for his arms, legs, anything to give her leverage and hurt him. Nita and Lissie tried to wrest her off him, Sam and I tried to calm her down with words, Taylor tried to help Nita and Lissie by dragging Jacko away, while Summer and Ryan stood, staring at the scene, flabbergasted.
We eventually succeeded, Ley storming to her bedroom. Nita, Lissie and I tried to accompany her but she waved us off, the words "Get him out of my house now! I don't ever want to see him again!" ringing in our ears before her door slammed with finality.

This was a short chapter haha. Double update today (triple update this week) because, like I said in the last chapter, I'm celebrating 150 reads.
Dedicated to Rn2Sirrah, my fellow Swiftie <3 Go read her book guys, it's amazing. I'm still in love with it even though I read it months ago :)
Please vote, comment and tell me what you thought! Do you think Ley is overreacting? Is she right to hate Jacko for turning her lowkey birthday into a house party? Do you think Jacko is responsible at all, or could it be someone else? Arghh, so many questions!
