The Story So Far:

Liam and Zayn are spending thanksgiving with Zayn's family while Harry and Louis are at Niall's restaurant celebrating. Niall has a crush on the chef, Cheyenne, and he accidentally overhears Louis and Harry telling each other that they love each other for the first time.

"Um, Harry and I are dating?" I say to Niall. His mouth is still open after hearing us confess our love to each other. I'm not sure how to feel about him seeing that private moment, but his priceless face makes it worth it. "I wanted to tell you, but it never felt like the right time. I was scared and-"

"My ship has sailed," Niall mumbles as he looks at Harry and I.

"Your what?" I ask as I take the wine from Niall's hands so that he doesn't drop it in his state of surprise.

"My ship. I have been wanting you two to date ever since I took that picture of you guys kissing at the pride parade," Niall comments with a smile that I have never seen as wide and excited as now. "Why didn't you tell us? We accept you, Louis, for who you are."

"Louis needed to learn to be comfortable in his decisions," Harry answers for me as his eyes meet mine. "He needed pride in himself, and I showed him that along the way."

"Awwww," Niall says out loud. "Well, this was a long time coming. I'll leave you two lovebirds to eat, but you're telling me all of the details tomorrow. Dinner at yours, Harry?"

Harry nods his head in confirmation.  "Zayn and Liam will be home by then. You can bring Cheyenne; that way you won't be so lonely."

"I'll think about it," Niall replies with a blush in his face before he leaves us to our dinner. Niall ordered us classic turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing, and I can swear that this is one of the best Thanksgiving meals I have ever had. Cheyenne is an amazing cook.

It's weird being in public like this with Harry. It's not a bad weird; it's just different. As we eat, we can seem as romantic as we want to without caring who sees us. I notice some gazes that look to two men having dinner together, but I also see a lot of smiles towards us. I ignore any glares and only focus on Harry. Harry taught me how to do that.

"This dinner was filling. What do you say we order dessert and have a dance?" Harry asks, gesturing to the dance floor where couples are dancing along to the swing band.

"That sounds quite lovely."

"How do you feel about some flourless chocolate cake?" a girl's voice asks. We both look up to see Cheyenne standing above us. She wears her chef's hat and a white uniform. She stands with a smile on her face. "I also just heard from Niall you two are dating. Congratulations, but please do it next time in a less public setting. He jumped on me, and I almost stabbed myself with a knife I was holding."

I smile at her story. Of course, Niall had to attack her with his happiness. "Sorry about that. We'll do it differently next time we come out to Niall."

Cheyenne rolls her eyes, but her grin doesn't fade. "Flourless chocolate cake sound good? It's amazing with a rich frosting and-"

"And I'm sure it'll be perfect," Harry finishes her thought. "We'll take a slice."

"Sounds good. I'll go put that order in."

"Good to hear. Now excuse me while I go dance and show off my boyfriend," Harry says before he stands up. He offers his hand to me, and we walk hand in hand to the dance floor. I look over my shoulder and give Cheyenne a smile. She looks happy as she watches us walk out onto the dance floor. I wish Niall would ask her out already. She's a sweet girl.
