"What?" I asked, my voice deadly calm, but I'm sure my eyes blazed with fire worse than that of hell.
"Simon, are you sure, Arizona? Do we even have resources there to ensure their security?" Ethan asked, ignoring both mine and Heath's shouts of protest from the side.
"Absolutely. Winston had a safe house there with a butler and everything. I'll give him a call to get the rooms ready." Simon replied, already taking out his mobile to contact Carson.
Okay first of all, this man needed an ego check.
Carson wasn't a butler, this is 21st century for God's sake!
He's just the caretaker of our house in Arizona when we aren't around but Simon being the man he is, still called him a fucking butler.
A second later Simon locked his mobile, putting it back in the pocket, standing up and looking down at Heath and me.
"Done. Hailey, my secretary will arrange everything else needed for your departure as well as your arrival in Arizona. My work here is done, I'm off now. I've to visit Travon's office to make sure everything's running smoothly. Ethan, Hailey will contact you as well with the reviews."
"Yea, sure." Ethan gave Simon a small smile which he didn't bother to return.
Simon nodded to Ethan and me, retracing his footsteps from where he came and leaving the hospital without even a second glance towards his son.
"Ethan! What the fuck?!" I bellowed, turning to glare at him sitting beside me.
"Were you even thinking of consulting us before you made the plans?!" Heath gritted out, his jaw clenched.
Ethan looked at both Heath and me, his eyes bouncing between the two of us and I hadn't turned to Heath but I'm sure we both had the same expression; W.T.F pasted on our face.
"Ooh, this is gonna take a while." Ethan sighed.
"Damn right it's gonna. So, you better start already." Heath scowled at Ethan, his hands clenched at his sides.
"Fine. Look. Like you said, we don't know the extent on which Kerrigans are taking it this time and they infiltrated Alora's house. Their house. I dunno if you're aware or not, but that place has better security than the White House itself. It's just not safe here anymore. At least for some time till we get the security back up."
"And that means you just pack us up and ship to another state?! Are you out of freaking minds?! And Heath?! Why does he have to leave everything here and go? As far as I know, he isn't a member of Pierce family and if you've forgotten or something, Kerrigans target only this particular family."
"Simon wants him to go. I've got fucking clue why. You can ask him if you want to." Ethan shrugged.
"Actually, I've no problem with this trip. But I wanna know why, though?" Heath asked and I turned to glare at him. He hurriedly added, "I mean who doesn't want to get out of life-learning lessons with their dad where he just shouts at you whole day?"
Heath gave me an un-apologetic shrug and I rolled my eyes, turning away from him.
"And what about your college?" I asked him, my eyebrow raised in questioning.
He gave me a look, scanning if I hit my head and lost my mind.
"You're kidding, right?! I've common finals starting from Wednesday. If I go with you, I get a free ticket to get out of them."
