"Can you do anything for him?" I said, well, it came out as more of a snarl then anything.
I shot a look over at clary and Jace, clary was still fusing over Jace and Jace was staring at me, from over little reds shoulder.           •••••••••••••••••••

I broke eye contact with Jace when I felt a hand on my arm.
"You okay? You look pretty banged up" Simon spoke softly, touching my face, gently, examining my cuts with one hand, the other stayed on my arm.

"I'm fine, Si, thanks" when he opened his mouth to argue, so I add "Shadowhunter, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, battles demons" he looked at me sheepishly. I could feel Jace's gaze on my back, practicality burning a hole in my back.
"So, can you heal him? Or are we here for nothing, sparkles?" I barked at the warlock.

"Yes," the warlock calmly turned to me "I can. But I need a couple things"
"What? What do you need?" I crossed my arms, wishing he would hurry up.
"Well, first, I need" he waved his hand and a strip of paper appears in his hand "these ingredients"
Jace walked up and snatched the list from Magnus.
"Fine" he grunted.

"What else do you need?" I asked.
"Well, you, Angel eyes" his reply made Jace fume.
"What? No way" Jace took a protective step in front of me.
"Why do you need me?"
"Why, shadow hunter energy from a pure soul, of course" he informed. Jace and I instantly fell into a fit of laughter.

"Well, then, I'm not gonna be any help!" I finally got out, as Jace and I calmed down.
"Why not?" Magnus asked.
"Well, there's only one problem with that, she's a shadowhunter, and she's got energy" Jace snorted, causing us both the loose our cool again. "But she's anything but pure! If you know what I mean!" He wiggled his eyebrows.

Simon thought for a second, then his eyes went wide with realization.
"Oh! Whoa. Oh" he shifted from foot to foot.

"Call Alec, Jace, he can help with the energy" I said between giggles, causing Magnus' eyes to light up at the mention of the lightwood.
"I don't know if he'll help"
"He will" no one was laughing anymore.

Jace and Simon had left to go get the missing ingredients about thirty minutes ago.
Clary was mixing the ingredients that we had, Magnus was doing something to Luke, blue sparks flying from his hands.
I was just sitting on the floor, staring up at the ceiling, I had healed my cuts already.

Magnus looked like he was about to pass out, his energy running out. just then, Alec burst through the door, catching the warlock before he could fall. Giving him his energy.
"Take what you need" he told the warlock he was holding up.

Not two minutes later, Jace and Simon came in, giving Clary the bag of ingredients.
Pretty soon she was feeding the green liquid to the wolf.

"Hey" Simon sat next to me.
"Hey" I turned my attention to the brown eyed boy next to me.
"How are you holding up?" His question surprised me, the fact that he was ripped out of his world, kidnapped, twice, and seen things no mundane should see, yet, was worried about how I was.

"I'm fine. This is what I do. It's normal life for me. How are you?" I turned my gaze to the room.
"It's normal for you to find out that you have a twin brother, that you aren't who you were told, to get in a car accident and to find out that the greatest super villain in history isn't dead?"
"No, no it's not" I chuckled.
"So, how are you really?"
"I told you, Simon, I'm fine" my voice was gruff. He didn't pry.

"Hey, uh, Jace is staring at you" Simon whispered. I looked up and sure enough, Jace was staring, not at me, but at both me and Simon.

When he saw I was looking he tilted his head towards the door to the room with the piano, before walking briskly in.
I sighed and pushed my self up, muttering a "be right back" to Simon and following the blond boy into the other room.

"What's up, Jace?" I asked, seeing him standing in the middle of the room, his back to me, arms crossed.
"I think you should go back to the Institute" he stated gruffly, not bothering to look at me.
"What? Why?"
"There's no reason for you to be here"
"What do you mean 'no reason'?" I advanced on my brother.

"There's no use of you staying here, you would be more help distracting Mayrse, then being, here, flirting with the mundane" he was still facing away from me.
"Flirting with the mundane? Simon? I'm not flirting with Simon!"

"Will you Just do what you're told? For once? You are driving me crazy" Jace finally spun around to look at me, throwing his hands into the air. I knew that I should walk away and not push him, but my anger and stubbornness took over.

"Oh, don't you talk to me about doing what you're told, Jonathan! I'm not the only one! We are all going against clave law! Disappearing after missions, missing training, missing meetings and not turning in reports! And who was the one who asked me to help track down a mundane with the sight, and bring her to the institute? You, Jonathan! We have broken so many laws! Getting involved with downworlder business!" I could tell My face was red, by the heat that burnt my skin, I was waving my arms in the air and pacing, as I ranted.

{3rd POV }
As the pair of blondes argument got louder and more intense, they were oblivious to the fact, that in the doorway Clary, Magnus and Simon, all stood watching uncomfortably

"Half of your job is downworld business, Bexley!" Jace bellowed, his jaw set, his eyes full of a raging fire.
"Not like this, Wayland! This is not my job! We aren't supposed to get involved with this!" The girls voice was shaking with anger, her cheeks bright red, her fists clenched so tightly that her nails left bloody marks in her palms.
"By the Angel! Why Can't you just go back to the institute? " Jace said, it sounded more like a command.

"You can't tell me what to do, Jace! You're not the boss of me!" Bexley crossed her arms.
"Yeah? Well, I'm not asking! I'm ordering you to go back to the institute, before I carry you there myself!"  Jace's words only made The yelling and aggressive arm gestures get louder and faster.  The two were now inches apart, yelling and shouting.

This is when the redhead tried to intervene, walking quickly, stumbling in the borrowed heals she wore, over to the two, trying to put herself in between them.

"Okay, why don't we sit down?" She put one hand on Jace's chest, and the other on Bexley's shoulder. But this did nothing.

"You can't order me around Jace! Besides, you need my help!"
"I don't need your help! I don't need your vampire friends. I don't need you getting in the way!" His words going from outraged yelling, to low, raspy growls. "And i don't need you"

At those small five words, Bexley's arms dropped to her side, all the anger and fury that occupied her face, only seconds ago, was replaced with shock and hurt, the flames in her eyes flickered out and in their place, un shed tears glistened, her lips parted slightly, before she bit down on her bottom lip with her teeth.

"Okay, then" Bex's voice was soft and broken.
