Jace and I both ran our stele over our Glamour rune, while Clary had a bit of trouble.
We stood in a dark closet. I couldn't see anything.
"Need some help?" Jace's voice spoke.
"No, I got it!" Clary answers.
"Someone find a freaking light!" I snap, as I had just stubbed my toe on something."Got it!" Clary squeaked and a light turned on.
The first thing I noticed was how close she and Jace were standing.
"Okay, Jace, what's your brilliant plan?" Clary looked up at him.
"Yeah, Jace, oh wise one! What is your magnificent plan?""Drop the sarcasm, would you?"
"You know you love my sarcasm"
"Sure, whatever you have to tell yourself""Guys!" Clary put her hands on her hips. "Not the time"
"Alright, little red, chill" I ruffled her hair. "When your a shadowhunter, there is never time""Let's just go"
We walked, unseen thanks to the glamour runes, towards the interrogation room that Luke was in.
"How do we get in?" Clary asked, and I solved the problem by walking over to a stack of boxes, pushing them over, which made a huge crash, then I finished by letting out a shrill scream.I put the card I was holding in my pocket. Alec and Izzy had snatched it for us, before we came in. They met us here.
the man who was talking to Luke comes rushing out, at the sound of my scream. and Clary and Jace slip in the door that was swinging closed.
I calmly walk around the room, causing havoc. Letting out loud shrieks and yells, I pulled the fire alarm, messed with cameras, computers, shelves.
But my favorite was when I pushed over the water dispensers, one by one."What is going on?" One man yelled.
"This is some crazy paranormal stuff" a second one looked impressed.
"My shoes are all wet!" A lady shrieks.
"Who ever is doing this, it's not funny!"Pretty soon, the man noticed the camera to Luke's room was out, and he started walking back, so being the Jerk I am, I took one of the plastic cups from an overturned dispenser and threw it at him, hitting him in the back of the head.
"What? Who di- Forget it!" He stormed into the room, allowing my fellow shadow hunters to come out.Waving me over, they lead me down a hallway.
"What did you do in there?" Jace asked, amusement clear on his face.
"I just gave the mundanes a cool story to tell the mrs.'s" I shrug.
"Come on, it's this door!" Clary held out her hand for the card I had in my pocket, and she opened a door to our left, after I gave it to her. it led Down a dark stair case."You know, I've seen some mundane movies, and anyone who goes down an empty, dark stair case, doesn't come back up" I pointed out.
They just rolled their eyes and went down. I followed.
We followed clary until she found the box of Luke's stuff."Could you, like, be fast? I'd rather not be caught stealing from the police"
"Fine. Oh! Here it is!" Clary pulled out a thin, gold playing card- looking thing.
"That's not the mortal cup" I raised an
eyebrow "that's not even a normal cup"
