Bexley's POV

"Where the hell have you two been?" Valentine stood at the front door of the cabin, arms crossed, a frown twisted in his face.

"Neverland" I snort sarcastically, but become quiet when I realize how tense Nathan had be come.
"I took Bexley out, we went for lunch in town"

It was true. He and I went into the city of glass and had lunch. We then went for a walk in town square.

"You both have responsibilities!" He scowled "Bexley, Pangborn and Blackwell are waiting for you, so go equip yourself with the proper attire and weapons"

Walking up the stairs I could hear Valentine speak to Nathan.

"I don't want you just taking her out whenever and wherever you please, Jonathan. Is that understood?" I stopped. Jonathan? I guess Nathan is a nickname?

"Yes, sir"

I was now barking orders, at the dozens of circle members scurrying around the wooden docks.
The waves hit the boat, sending a spray of sea water to hit all of us, every couple seconds.
The sounds of the struggles of the DownWorld hostages being moved from their original cells to ones on the ship.

"Hey! You!" I snapped at a circle member I vaguely recognized, who was being incredibly rough with a young werewolf, maybe around five years old.
"don't be so rough. If there's so much as a single mark on her, I will personally see to it that you end up in one of those cells- or worse, understood?"

The man nodded his head furiously, obviously intimidated by me, before continuing forward with the girl, a bit gentler this time.

"That was impressive, bright eyes" I turned on my ten inch, leather boot, heal to see Nathan.
"Hello, Jonathan" I kept a straight face, I wanted to know why he didn't tell me. I had a gut feeling it was on purpose.

My feeling only grew when the smirk faded from his face. He was about to say something when a yell came from yards away.

"The Nix is getting away!" I, along with many others, looked to see a man with dark hair turning the corner of one of the many ships.

Many of the captives used this to start to try and get away.
"I've got the Nix" I say as I take off running, catching up to the nix fairly quickly.

Running after the Nix for around ten minutes, we were separated from the group, it was just us.

So when the Nix tripped, tumbling and skidding on the sand we were now on, I stopped.

"Go. Hurry up, go!" I whisper shout, as I whipped my head around to make sure no one was around.
"What?" He stared at me, his big, brown eyes clearly showing disbelief.
"I said go! Leave! Run! Get out of here! Now!" I move closer, reaching my hand out for him to take, helping him up.
