Chp 6: He Cheats?

Rianne's pov:

Jack and I had been dating for one week and I was the happiest person in the world. Everything was going okay between Marie and I. We weren't as close as we used to be but we are actually talking for once which made me happy. Now the only really sad part about right now is the fact that me and Taylor didn't really talk and I wish that would change. I really did because me and him were best friends and i kind of came this summer just to hang out with him. I don't really care about any of the other boys but it seems like Jack is really all that I care about right now.

It was a really nice day outside. Kay and Nash went on a date to lunch. Bali, Cameron, Marie and Taylor were at home relaxing. Jack was somewhere. Actually I had no idea where he was. I decided to take a walk around town. I put on some blue vans, leggings and a long sparkly silver top. I didn't do much with my hair. I just braided it to the side. I grabbed my penny board and started to ride.

I was riding along a small street. it was about 11:00 and I needed some coffee. I Saw a small coffee shop and walked in. Just as I was about to order a caramel mocha, I saw Jack. I was about to run to him and give him a hug when I saw something. I put my hands over my mouth to stop myself from crying. He had his arms around another girl. The worst thing was that she was pretty. I kept looking at them. He looked so happy. I couldn't believe this was happening. Jack was cheating on me. I caught eye contact with him and his eyes grew wide. I ran out the door and wanted to get home as soon as possible. I heard him yell my name, but I kept going. luckily, with my penny board I was fast. I felt the tears still streaming down my face.

I ran in to find only Taylor there sitting on the couch. He saw me. I ran to him and jumped in his arms.

"Ri, what's wrong?" He said. I sobbed into his chest. He stroked my hair.

"Jack...I saw him with another girl."

"I'm so sorry, Rianne. I'm so so sorry."

We wrapped our arms around each other. I told Taylor how big of a mistake I made to trust Jack. Then Taylor said something I didn't know how to respond.

"I'm sorry for saying I just wanted to be friends."

"Taylor I-"

"No. It was the biggest mistake of my life. It really was." Taylor kissed the tip of my nose.

By now my tears were gone and I had gotten up to go upstairs. I saw my little sister Sadie sitting on my bed.

"Hi Ri!" She said being her bubbly self. Sadie was 13 and one of my closest friends. we weren't like the stereotypical sisters who fought alot. We were friends. She was tall and had hazel eyes rand light brown hair. She patted the bed for me to sit by her.

"What's up?"

"I think I'm starting to like Hayes, Nash's brother. He's so sweet and even held my hand yesterday. What should I do?"

Sadie was smiling but seemed really nervous. I didn't really want to talk about guys even though this was really cute.

I felt my phone vibrate and of course, it was Jack.

Ri, let me explain please.

I didn't respond. Then, I heard someone's footsteps coming upstairsug towards the room. I was lying down in bed. I realized the footsteps were Jacks. I couldn't have this right now. I heard a pounding on the door.

"Rianne?" Jack asked.

I didn't say anything. But after him knocking for a few minutes, Jack walked in and looked at me straight it the eyes. He sat on the bed next to me. I turned away from him as he said "You'll never know if it was real until you talk to me."

Would I turn to him or not?
