Chp 8: Friend Cheats

Rianne's pov:

The next morning I woke up unexpectedly late. It wasn't a surprise actually since I went to bed around 3 o'clock. Bali and Kay were in my room waiting for me sitting on my bed.

I flashback last night with Taylor as the girls asked me to wake up. They had no idea whatsoever. Kay was jumping on the bed making me toss and turn.

"C'mon bae, it's 11:30. How late did you stay up?" Kay asked.

"Til 3."

I got out of bed and didn't even get changed. I just walked downstairs with a tanktop and shorts on. Kay and Nash held hands and Bali and Cameron cuddled on the couch next to Marie...who was sitting next to Jack. They seemed to be talking a lot, but I didn't know if I was happy or not. How was I going to tell Jack about Taylor?

Jack walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I put mine around him, but it just didn't feel right.

"Good morning babe." He whispered to me.

"Good morning,"

I caught Taylor staring at us. He slowly sipped his coffee and crossed his arms.

*2 hours later*

All of us girls were up in our room doing our nails. Even Sadie was up there telling us about her new boyfriend Hayes<3. Marie looked like she needed to get something off of her chest so I interrupted Sadie.

"Marie, are you alright?"

"You're going to hate me."

I just sat there in shock. Why would I hate her now? I thought things were okay between us.

"Yesterday when I was helping Jack get cleaned up, we were talking, ya know and he seemed like a really sweet guy. I still like him, but I didn't want to hurt you. I swear I don't know why-"

"Marie, just say it..." Kay said.

"Jack and I kissed. I'm sorry Ri, I don't want to hurt you, but I kissed back. I-"

The guilt from earlier had dropped, but I was still frozen. I couldn't believe Marie would do this to me. I looked at her with my mouth wide open.

"He kissed you first? How could you do that to me?" I cried. She couldn't find any words to say. She tried to walk out of the room, but I got up and blocked it. I was not done talking to her.

"Yes, but I didn't know what to do okay?! Please just forgive me."

"I don't know if I can, Marie. You knew I liked him and something happened last night with me and Taylor, but it was nothing compared to this."

"What happened?" They all asked.

"He kissed me unexpectedly, but I didn't kiss back like you did because for once I actually cared about other people!" I yelled.

"It doesn't matter. You still kissed him! So were even!"

"You have no idea how mad I am at you."

I stormed out of the door and slammed it. I don't know why, but I didn't even want to talk to Jack...even about what he did to me. I was going to completely ignore him. I went downstairs and went on Twitter and saw the picture of Jack and that girl from the coffee place.

That cheater. I posted something to get him back. It was a picture of Taylor last night and I with his arms around me kissing my cheek.

I didn't care how much hate I got. If there was a decision to make, I was choosing Taylor. I ran outside to the beach where he sat alone in a hollister tank top and shorts. What happened next? You wouldn't believe it.

Marie's pov:

I flash backed to yesterday with Jack.

I brought him to the bathroom and sighed. I remembered how Ri had told me to talk to Jack more. This was my chance. Jack was so cute. He looked up at me and kept smiling. He was asking me so much about myself and we actually got to know eachother. Sometimes he looked sad and confused and then within a second he was so happy to talk to me. I couldn't help, but wonder what was going through his mind until he pulled me closer and we kissed. At first I gasped, but then I kissed him back. We promised to tell nobody, but I couldn't hurt Ri like that. I knew shed hate me, but Jack said he loved me. It was Jack or her.
