Rianne's pov:

I looked up at Taylor who was resting with me at the side of a lake. I had past out for ten minutes or so from a mixture of exhaust and pain. Taylor looked back down at me and moved a strand of hair away from my bloody...wait, what was bloody? I could taste a metallic taste of blood on my lips. I had a slight cut on my lip, but it was nothing too big.

"I want to kiss you again," Taylor said to me. He giggled and kissed my nose.

"We should probably wait till my lip isn't bloody."

I got up and sat in his lap. He wrapped his arms around bringing me closer to him. I felt like I hadn't felt this feeling in a million years when truthfully it had only been a little less than a day. Every second in that cabin seemed like an hour. Taylor gave my neck a kiss and then turned me around so I was face to face with him. He dabbed my lip with his bandana. It was his favorite bandana...and now it was ruined with my blood. I felt a little bad.

"I ruined your bandana..."

"It's okay baby, I'm just glad that you're safe. I called the police by the way."

"When are they going to be here?" I asked.

Taylor told me that they'd be here shortly and they came within the next twenty minutes. I couldn't stand very well because of the fact that my leg was slightly purple, bruised and was swollen pretty badly. A nurse put me on a flat board and moved me in to the ambulance. Taylor followed along and climbed in to the ambulance. Next to me was a nurse with big rimmed glasses and blonde hair that was pulled up in to a tight bun. She had a clipboard and told me many things.

"We're taking you to the hospital where you'll meet up with your family and your leg will be checked out. The police believe to have found Grant Markus, but do not worry. He's in serious pain, but you're not in trouble. We know this was self defense."

I nodded and smiled. I closed my eyes trying to focus on other things besides the pain on my leg. Taylor rubbed my upper leg where I wasn't wounded in comfort. Honestly, if it weren't for him right now, I could be dead.

"Thank you Taylor."

"You're welcome, beautiful."

We pulled up in to the emergency parking lot after the long bumpy ride. I was rushed out not so peacefully and moved in to a room. Immediately, I as hooked up to a whole bunch of monitors. I tried to stay calm even with the twenty million doctors surrounding me. Finally after poking me with the needles and cleaning my lip, they let me and Taylor be alone.

"You're mother will be here soon," He said. I smiled.

"This is all crazy," I said.

Taylor stayed silent for a bit grasping on to my hand. He looked in to my eyes and I watched tears stream down his cheeks. I couldn't help, but be happy.

"Can I kiss you now?" Taylor asked.

"Yes,"

Taylor leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. He cupped my face with his hand while I kissed him back. This kiss was perfect. I remember wondering if I would never kiss him again. I didn't want to never be able to experience the feeling of being in his arms again. I cherished everything about that kiss.

"I love you,"

"I love you,"

Taylor left the room when we saw someone come in. He left because he knew we needed some time to be alone. The person who came in was my mother. When she saw me, her hands flew over her mouth. She walked over to me and the tears streamed down her face. She rested her face in my chest while I stroked her hair.

"Mom, I'm okay." I said.

"You have no idea, sweetie. I was so scared."

"I was scared too mom. But hey, be happy. Everything's gonna be alright."

Mom lifted up her head and looked at me in the eyes. I could tell she had been a mess. Her eyes were dull and bloodshot. Her reddish brown hair was covering her eyes and she was pale. I managed to let out a small smile.

"You truly have an amazing boyfriend. Without him, you wouldn't be able to be back here." She said. I saw her smile a little bit. The greenish color came back to her eyes.

"I really love him," I said. My mom told me about how she saw my smashed phone in our driveway. She got me a new pink iPhone 5c. While we waited for the doctors come in, I set my phone up downloading everything again and adding in contacts.

Finally a tall man with slicked back white hair and blue eyes came in. He must be the doctor. He shook me and my mothers hands and introduced himself as "Dr. Simmons".

"Hello," I said. He leaned down and looked at the wound on my leg.

"Ooh, this is very deep. I'm afraid we're going to need to stitch this up."

I moaned at the thought of how painful this would be. Dr. Simmons told me that it would probably take about five stitches. Not that much, but still quite painful. Cameron peeked through the door after he heard what Dr. Simmons said.

"Hey Rianne, you can be my stitch buddy!" He said pointing to his foot where he got thirteen stitches. I laughed and gave him a scared look afterwards. (My prayers go out to Cameron)

After about twenty minutes, the doctors got started on the surgery. It took the a long time to numb the area and I screamed in pain. (I've gotten 18 stitches in my arm from running in to a barbed wire fence in real life, so I know the pain). My mother clenched on to my hand telling me it'd be alright. Hey, anything could be better than being with Grant in a tiny cabin being held hostage.

They finished up the operation and I looked at my leg. It was a greenish bruised color and was gnarly. After wards, I was told to stay the night at the hospital and all of my friends come in to greet me.

I was also greeted with a bunch of stuffed animals and balloons to lift up the house in the movie Up.
