A Summer we won't forget/ A Taylor Caniff and Jack Gilinsky story.

Chapter 51: Birthday

Rianne's pov:

It's my birthday! I woke up and I hopped out of bed automatically like a little kid. I tried not to wake everyone else up since it was early in the morning. I couldn't help it though! I went to my drawers and pulled out an American Eagle dress. It was turquoise with lace on the top. Across the waist was a brown braided belt. I found a white bow and then finished off choosing my outfit by grabbing some brown flats with white lace around the sides. I went to the bathroom and slipped it all on. I was really proud with it and then got started with my makeup and hair. I put on some thin eyeliner and some mascara. I put on some light pink blush and then curled my hair so that in was in loose waves.

When I finished, I went downstairs realizing it was about nine in the morning. Taylor got up from the couch and saw me. His smile got bigger and he ran to me picking me up off of my feet. I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with the ends of his hair.

"There's my birthday girl!" He smiled and kissed the tip of my nose. He set me back down, but I still had my arms wrapped around him. "Are you excited for today?" He asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I laughed.

I decided to skip breakfast since we'd probably have a big lunch. I wasn't sure, but I wasn't that hungry anyways. I looked over to the coffee table and the gifts sat there perfectly. I especially paid attention to Taylor's gift.

Soon after, everyone came down and they all got in a group hug with me. They all yelled in unison "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RIANNE!"

"Thanks guys," I laughed. I was ready to get this day going.

*Two hours later*

So they apparently had everything planned out. They knew what we were going to be doing all day and now they were ready to go. I had the perfect outfit and perfect hair so I got a little upset when Taylor told me to go grab some new clothes. But hey, I wasn't going to complain. I knew it was going to be a fun day.

"You look beautiful baby, but we're going somewhere where it won't be fun to be in a dress."

"Otayyy," I giggled and went back upstairs. I found my Nike shorts and borrowed Taylors Nike shirt. It was a bit baggy so I found two hair ties. I used one to put my hair up and one to pull my shirt back. I went back downstairs and Taylor smiled.

"You look even more gorgeous!" He said

"Thank yoouuu" I winked at him. We headed out of the house and got in to the car. Since I was the birthday girl, I got shotgun.

About fifteen minutes later, we pulled up to a big building and I automatically knew where we were. I was so excited and I knew that Taylor was right. I didn't want to be here in a dress. It was where we went on our first date. We were going to the place with the trampolines and huge ball pits. Yes, I still acted like a child sometimes. I don't care.

"Thank you so much!" I said. I gave Taylor a hug and I just couldn't wait to go inside.

"No problem beautiful," He said and we started to walk in. All of a sudden, all of the boys stopped and they started to yell at a few boys behind us. It wasn't a bad type of yelling. They seemed like they were excited. I turned around and I knew why they were excited. Three boys came up running to them giving them those "man hugs".

It was Matthew Espinosa, Carter Reynolds and Jack J. Unfortunately, Aaron and Shawn couldn't come. Their flights were canceled. They were all really surprised.

"It's been forever since I've seen you!" Jack Gilinsky said to Jack Johnson. Their bromance though...

They all finished up saying hello to each other and they introduced me to them. They were all really nice. The only other person there was a girl with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her name was Jess and she was dating Carter. I talked to her and she was really friendly.

We all headed in to the place and by that point, I didn't care anymore. I grabbed Taylor's hand and we ran together in to the ball pit. I tackled him, but he definitely won. Wow, he was strong, but it was cute. He pushed me up against the wall of the pit and I tried to fight him off. He just continued to laugh and he winked at me.

"Want to go to the trampoline with everyone else?" I asked and he let me go. He held on to my hand when I tried to get out. I hurdled one leg over the side of the ball pit to get out, but Taylor pulled me back in.

"Taylor!" I laughed. I stumbled and laid flat on my back in the ball pit.

"Oops." Taylor said sarcastically.

"You're too cute,"

"Well, I didn't want you to leave." He winked. I blushed and we continued to hang out in there until we were ready to open presents.

I got out of the ball pit and we went to a table on the side of the gymnasium. Jack J, Matthew, Carter and Jess all got me a gift too, but it was from all of them together. I thanked them and I started to open them up. I saved Taylors for last.

I got a 15$ iTunes gift card from my mom, some bath and body works perfume from Bali and Cameron, an outfit from Marie and Jack, some hair bows from Kay and Nash and then a ton of candy from the rest of the boys and Jess. I gave them all hugs, thanked them and then looked over at Taylor. He held a little red velvet box. It was little and s'cute!

"Can we maybe open this in private? I think it'd make it more special." He asked.

I nodded and smiled and we went outside to the side of the building. There was a swinging bench and we sat down on it. I couldn't wait to see what it was and I could obviously tell Taylor was excited for me to open it. The wind blew back my hair and I sat close to Taylor. He handed me the velvet box.

I opened it slowly and when it was finally open, I noticed a golden necklace. It had a locket on it and inside it was a picture of me and him. The locket was shaped like a heart and on the outside of it, the words Rianne and Taylor forever were engraved. I started to cry and looked up at Taylor.

"It's beautiful." I said. I wrapped myself in his arms and he slipped it around my neck. I couldn't stop looking at the picture of us inside. I was never going to take it off.

"I'm glad you like it," He smiled at me.

"This really is the best birthday I've ever had." I said.

Taylor didn't even respond. He pulled me closer and placed his lips on mine. I kissed him back and felt sparks fly. I snuggled in closer to him and rested my head on his chest hearing his heartbeat. He played with my hair and I played with my necklace running my fingers over the engraved words. It really was the best birthday.
