I'm Not So Bad.

Chapter 19

Ocean's pov.

We were leaving in 5 min to go to River's, Rebecca's, and Mike's old neighborhood. They only grew up 20 min away so we don't have that long of a drive. Me and River are gonna stay at his house and Rebecca and Mike are gonna stay their old houses. 

"You ready Short Cake?" River asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yup"

"Alright let's go, Oh and me and you are taking the Motorcycle while Mike and Rebecca take Mike's car"

"Okay sounds good" I smiled up at him.

He smiled back, and grabbed my hand dragging me to his motorcycle. We got on and drove off. Mike and Rebecca live next door to each other so that's why they are driving together. We stopped in front of a gait with a body guard. River waved to the body guard and the gait opened. I looked up and gasped we were in front of a mansion. It was gorgeous. 

River parked his bike and we hopped off. I looked up at the mansion again in awe.

"This place is amazing"

"I guess" River shrugged

"You guess?"

"Ya I mean it's never really felt like a home you know, when I buy my own house I want to buy more of a homey kind of home you know?"

"Ya I guess, it's beautiful though"

River smiled at me and grabbed our bags. We walked up to the front door and walked in.

"A little warning, my parents can be a little embarrassing" River said scratching his neck.

I was about to answer him when I heard a squeal. I looked up to see a beautiful women probably in her late 40's. 

"Oh Muffin it's been so long!" She said pulling River into a hug.

She calls him Muffin? That is so cute.

"Hey ma I missed you too" River said patting her back softly.

They pulled away and a man that was also in his late 40's walked in.

"Hey son" He said pulling River into one of those man hugs.

"Hey dad"

They pulled away and then the two parents looked at me.

"Are you the famous Ocean that River goes on and on about?" The lady asked.

"Yes mam and i'm guessing your his parents" I said nicely

"Yup" The man said.

"Well it is nice to meet you Mrs and Mr. Daniels" I said shaking their hands.

"Oh call us Tina and Kevin, Mr and Mrs. Daniels makes us feel old" Tina said

I nodded and smiled.

"Well i'm gonna show Ocean to her room" River said

"Okay you kids be safe" Kevin said with a smile.

We walked to the staircase in silence before I broke it.

"Your parents are nice" I said smiling.

"Yeah their awesome and they seem to like you"

We walked up the stairs and then down a hall. We stopped in front of a door.

"This is were you will be sleeping" River said opening the door.

I looked at the room it had purple walls and a queen size mattress. There was a bathroom and a huge TV on the wall.

"My room is across the hall if you need company" He smirked
