Chapter 26

River's pov.

I was in my dorm, watching TV when I remembered that I was gonna meet Ocean outside of her lecture. I looked at my watch that Ocean got me, to see she would be getting out in a half in hour. I turned off my TV and changed into a white shirt and black jeans. I put on my cologne and gelled my hair up. I usually don't put that much into my look, but ever since I've met Ocean I have been trying to look better.

God I love her.

I walked down to her class door and waited. I heard a squeal, so I turned around to see Ashley.

Oh shit.

"River baby is that you?" Ashley asked walking up to me.

She was about to wrap her arms around me, so I backed away from her.

"The one and only"

"Wow it's been so long"

"Umm...not really high school was not that long ago" I said getting creeped out.

She looks worse than she did before, she used to have a big crush on me. I never really liked her, so ya.

"Your so funny" She said laughing like a donkey.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I go to college here silly"

Before I could reply I felt arms wrap around me from behind. I turned around confused, but I saw it was my Ocean so I smiled. She smiled up at me.

God I love that smile.

"Were have you been Short Cake?" I asked relived that she is here.

I would much much much rather spend time with my Short Cake instead of Ashley.

"The professor wanted to talk to me" 

I nodded and kissed her, Ashley broke us apart with her annoying voice.

"Who are you?" She asked in a snotty voice.

"Umm...i'm Ocean...and i'm guessing your Barbie?" Ocean said mimicking her voice.

I chuckled.

"NO my name is NOT Barbie, it's Ashley" She said whipping her hair.

"Ahh" 

But Ocean looked like she didn't give a shit.

"So what did your professor want to talk about?" Ashley asked

"Not that it's any of your business Barbie-"

"It's Ashley" She corrected.

"Do I look like I give a fuck?"

Ocean smirked at Ashley's mad face.

"Anyway as I was saying BARBIE, he just wanted to know if I could tutor some other kids, but I turned him down so ya.." 

"Oh" 

"Cool so if we are done here, we must get going"

I nodded happy to get away from Ashley.

"WAIT!!!" Ashley yelled/squealed like a pig.

We stopped and turned around to see her walking up to us.

I saw Ocean looking pissed.

Oh shit.

"What?" Ocean snapped

"I'm not talking to you, i'm talking to River"

Ocean glared at her.
