Chapter 20

River's pov.

We are leaving soon to go to my house. I only live 20 min away, and Mike and Rebecca already left. They live next door to each other.

"You ready Short Cake?" I asked Ocean.

"Yup"

"Alright let's go, Oh and me and you are taking the Motorcycle while Mike and Rebecca take Mike's car"

"Okay sounds good" She smiled at me.

I smiled back, and grabbed her hand dragging her to my motorcycle. We got on and drove off. We stopped in front of my gait and I saw my body guard Arnold. I waved to him and he opened the gait. I parked my bike in front of my house. We hopped off the bike, and I looked at Ocean to see her looking at the house in awe.

"This place is amazing"

"I guess" 

"You guess?"

"Yeah I mean it's never really felt like a home you know, when I buy my own house I want to buy more of a homey kind of home you know?"

"Yeah I guess, it's beautiful though"

I smiled and grabbed our bags. We walked into my house.

"A little warning, my parents can be a little embarrassing" I said scratching my neck.

I heard a squeal, so I looked up to see my mom.

"Oh Muffin it's been so long!" She pulled me into a hug.

"Hey ma I missed you to" 

We pulled away and then my dad walked in.

"Hey son" He pulled me into a hug.

"Hey dad"

We pulled away, then I saw my parents look at Ocean.

"Are you the famous Ocean that River goes on and on about?" My mom asked

"Yes mam, and i'm guessing your his parents"

"Yup" Dad said

"Well it is nice to meet you Mrs and Mr. Daniels" Ocean said shaking their hands.

"Oh call us Tina and Kevin, Mr and Mrs. Daniels makes us feel old" Mom said

She nodded and smiled.

"Well i'm gonna show Ocean to her room" I said

"Okay you kids be safe" Dad said

"Your parents are nice" Ocean said smiling.

"Yeah their awesome and they seem to like you"

We walked up the stairs and then down the hall. We stopped in front of the door.

"This is were you will be sleeping" I opened the door.

"My room is across the hall if you need company" I smirked

"Thank you, and I don't think I will need company"

"Yeah sure you won't but I wished you did" I mumbled under my breath.

I looked up and smiled at Ocean.

"Let me know if you need anything"

She nodded so I left.

I was bored so I decided to go bother Ocean. I walked in without knocking.

"Ever heard of knocking?" She asked sarcastically.
