I'm Not So Bad.

Chapter 13

Ocean's pov.

(Continuing from last chapter)

5 hrs later

I had 5 min left of work, and River is still here. He is sitting in a corner booth, and watching me like a hawk. I for some reason am not getting uncomfortable under his gaze. I looked at the clock and saw it was time to go. I put my apron up and punched out. I said bye to Cindy and walked to the door about to leave.

"Ocean wait" I heard someone say.

I turned around, to see River walking up to me. I smiled, he smiled back. 

"What's up?" I asked once he reached me.

He suddenly looked really nervous. 

"I....umm.....was wondering if.....you wanted to....hang out?" River said scratching the  back of his neck.

"Sure" I said happily.

He relaxed and smiled at me, I smiled back. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the Cafe. When our hands touched, I felt these weird sparks. When we reached his bike I started getting excited.

"How is your bike here? I thought you walked here with me" I asked curios.

"Oh I parked it here this morning and then went for a walk then I bumped into you"

"Oh" 

We got on the bike and drove off. I love the feeling of the wind blowing in my hair. About 10 min later we stopped at the edge of the forest. I hopped off the bike and looked at River confused.

"Are you gonna try and kill me?" I asked crossing my arms.

"No, I just have something to show you" He laughed

I nodded and followed him. We were walking down the trail for about 5 min when River suddenly stopped. I bumped into his back, and was about to bitch at him. But when I looked up my breath got caught in my throat.

We were at a huge cliff, and there was a water fall going off of it. At the bottom there was a small lake. There was flowers everywhere. It was breathtaking. I looked at River and saw him staring at me with a smile. I hugged him and he seemed to be surprised but he hugged me back. I pulled back and looked up at him and smiled.

"This is beautiful" I said

"Not as beautiful as you"

I blushed and looked down. He put his thumb under my chin and tilted my head up.

"You don't have to hide when you blush it's cute" he smiled.

I blushed deeper. I quickly kissed his cheek and walked to the edge of the cliff. A few minutes later I felt a presents behind me.

"Do you like it?" I heard River ask behind me.

"I love it"

"Do you want to sit and play a game?"

"Sure" I said.

I turned around to see him sitting against a stump. I sat beside him.

"So what game do you want to play?" He asked

"Ummm....20 questions?"

"Cool you go first"

We played for a little bit and I found out that he liked fishing, his favorite color was red. He never had a girlfriend, and his favorite food was pizza. Then the questions started getting deeper.

"Do you like anybody at the moment?" I asked

"Uh ya kinda" He said blushing.

I felt a weird feeling in my stomach.
