Magnus:
It was a large white room that reminded me of a lab, it had bright white lights at each corner of the room and white glossy panels covering the walls. Sage and I were in the middle, surrounded by about 10 other kids all roughly the same age as us. "My name is Tyler." A boy came through the crowd, arm outstretched. "I'm Magnus, This here is Sage." I gestured towards her, she smiled. A million questions were whizzing around my mind but none of them were answered as the lights switched off and everything went black, and a fist was smashed into my face.
I could hear groans and screams and knew that the same had happened to all the others, we were all on the ground. Before I knew it I was being dragged into a room that had huge metal shelves lining the walls and thousands of little syringes that had little labels with words too small to read on them. I was laid down on a bed by a thin, grim looking lady who picked me up with incredible ease, so was everyone else. We were all on industrial metal tables that had thin mattresses on top of them. Suddenly the lady that was dealing with me pulled out a syringe and put it on my wrist, with a smirk on her face. I would have fought back but after the punch I was feeling weak and powerless, she plunged the sharp needle into my arm and I groaned.
I cried out for Sage but she too was writhing around her bed as if she was in great pain. could feel something rising within me, a pain so great it made my heart feel like it was going to burst. I tasted blood in the back of my mouth and knew that this was bad. Very bad. It was then that I went out cold, along with everyone else in the room. Except for the lady and the other people that had injected us.
