"What... Am I seeing?"
Stan stood there, shocked at what he was seeing.
"Woah! Unexpected plot twist!" Kenny exclaimed from behind Stan. Cartman's face was red from trying not to laugh, finally the dam broke and he began laughing. Obnoxiously.
"Ha! Oh my god! This is gold! Hahaha!" Cartman snickered.
"I know what it feels like. I know what it felt like when you saw me kiss Red." Stan blinked and looked at [Y/N] with wide eyes.
"Hey, Cartman, maybe we should leave them to it." Kenny said in an exaggerated whisper.
"No! I wanna see-ee!" Cartman whined. Kenny looked uncertain, but stayed anyways. Who knew, maybe Stan needed the moral support? Or Kyle, he was looking pretty pale at the moment.
"Okay, this is just you getting back at me; one of your jokes." Stan felt his chest restricting, like she was giving him butterflies. Except the butterflies were actually moths eating away at his heart.
"Stan... It's not a joke." Kyle finally spoke. Stan eyed him.
"Then what is it? You kissing my ex? Being a total douche?" The lunch bell rang and students spilled into the hallway.
"No! Stan..." Kyle couldn't find the words he wanted to say. What should he say? That he was sorry for something he really wasn't sorry for? Tell Stan that he really liked [Y/N]?
"God, never knew you'd become a rebound for my ex." Stan pinched the bridge of his nose and anger mixed with jealousy courses through him.
"He's not a rebound, Stan. It's been months." [Y/N] piped up gently. Some heads turned curiously to see what was happening.
"Fine. Rebound or not, Kyle. How could you do this to me? You said you'd help me, is this helping?!" Stan seethed, he opened his locker, got his books, slammed his locker shut, and left.
"Wow, that just happened." Kenny whistled.
"Hey, guys, see you later, uhm." Kenny walked away to his own locker with Cartman, who was still laughing.
"Are you alright?" Kyle asked [Y/N] softly. She bit her lip and nodded.
"Yeah, I'll see you in literature." [Y/N] kissed his cheek and walked away.
Stan didn't like what he was feeling. Misery, jealousy, anger...
"Oh god..." Stan muttered, he shared his maths class with [Y/N], who made it her mission to avoid him.
"Stan keeps on looking at you." Bebe whispered.
"I feel like this is a repetitive thing, I'm just gonna ignore him as per usual." [Y/N] shook her head and puffed out her cheeks.
"Well, maybe you should confront him. You know, clear the air? At least for Kyle's sake, they're best friends." Heidi suggested from next to her. [Y/N] pressed her lips into a thin line.
"Well, what's the worst that could happen?"
"YOUR CHARACTER IS DEMOLISHED." Ike stared at the screen in front of him.
